You look around. There aren't alot of millionaires. Younger ones, especially.

Typically, she makes an honest attempt at a relationship with a normal guy, but then he dumps her, or she finds out he's got side chicks, or he's making poor decisions or not being kind to her, so she dumps him. I'm in my fifties, things are different in the younger crowd. The only women I know who sleep with alot of guys are very young. I was once horrified to hear one of them say "dick is plentiful and low value" But when I thought about it, it's kind of true. If dick is all you have to offer,…

Bingo. I make enough to support myself, if dudes gonna hide addictions, lie, cheat or be abusive, why would I want him in my life? If I find a decent guy who doesn't do any of that, I'm keeping him.

Naw, it's a $90,000 truck, with a lift kit and all the trimmings. Meh. I drive a beater truck and save my money. Sometimes it's a gambling or drinking problem. These dudes impress no one but themselves.

Nah. If he makes similar to me that's fine. More important is do we have similar life outlook/values and goals, similar interests and senses of humor.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/22 03:28 AM

Nah, we don't care, actually.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/22 03:17 AM

ROFL. Out loud, seriously.

Youre trppin' dude, there's alot of women these days that don't want kids. But go on, be angry at the world...

Nah. It's because of a shortage of "ethically attractive" people, of both genders. Lots of people treat others as commodities, just look at the talking points in this sub, and some of the terrible crap people put up with in others.

This last paragraph cracks me up. I'm female and never wanted kids. In my twenties, all my female friends were having babies. I was like " ugh, yuck". In my thirties and forties, it was the men in the dating pool that wanted kids. I was like "ugh, yuck". Now everyone is done with that, and I'm looking around for ' who's still safe and sane'? Lol

Men are the problem in every country. Y'all gotta learn to be better. More loyal, more honest, monogamous etc. Less violent, less abusive. Even Asian women are opting out of traditional marriage dynamics. Guys, imagine yourself as a woman, would you tolerate the way men treat you? Would that experience be super high on your list of things to do?

I would also like to point out that if you feel it's necessary to follow 'rules' or a 'system' to get to know people you're a phony ( because you aren't being yourself) and will eventually be found out. Finding out a guy is a phony is a huge turnoff.

Definitely talking to other guys who show more interest.

Play games like this and watch her lose interest. You're gonna pretend to be all interesting and busy then when she meets you you're aimless and youre sitting on the couch eating Cheetos and playing vids. She's gonna see right through that bro. LMAO

Not into shredded guys. I think it looks yucky. Normal muscles with a little ( not alot) of padding is perfect. The busy, ambitious thing I like, but I'm that too.

Not an option for me. Marriage is about partnership and intimacy, If you're going to take the intimacy away what's the point?

This isn't women only, many modern people, of both genders, do not see that a leads to b leads to c. Planning and critical thought are not common anymore. Plus many people are 'followers'. Think about 'trends', 'whats popular', etc. Lots of people do what everyone else does, so when a crappy thing becomes popular, we get more crappy things/behaviors.

52f here, no kids, doing fine with it. No debt, no drama. I have my own place, a couple classic cars, I go hiking and fishing often, get creative at home, made my basement into a medieval castle. Was married but he was unfaithful, we hadn't even been married a year, so I left. Tried dating but never met anyone worthy, so pretty much gave up until recently. I'm not seeing good prospects, but I'm ok with staying alone. I've learned how to fix cars, do carpentry, weld, etc. Just need a loyal compan…

That we should tolerate a man who cheats in an exclusive/ committed relationship. Nope. It's not ok.

Why the need to compartmentalize? Cant a woman be your lover AND partner?

Let's say a woman does ask you out. Are you gonna complain about being emasculated?

Dude I'm with you on the working out part but the crappy dressing, lack of grooming is a serious mood killer. Appearance matters.

I stumbled across this group a few weeks ago, and mostly just read stuff to see how screwed up alot of people are. I do see good things too, so all hope is not lost. I was raised by folks born in 1913, so I don't understand alot of modern behavior, male or female. I think there needs to be less battling and more looking for common ground. Even though I grew up in the eighties, I'm still perplexed by humanity. I was never part of the in crowd, never dated really but have been married and divorced…

You say men of higher value will have sex with other women but won't leave. That's not a high value man. That's one of the reasons women divorce, same as when a guy finds his woman cheating on him. Then there's domestic violence (both genders leave this eventually when able to do so). Addictions( drugs, gambling, etc). I believe men are less likely to initially file due to their ability to check out on an emotional level, and the fact that a divorce can be financially devastating for him, especi…

I would like to point out that in the not too distant past, there weren't any women with wealth or power. It belonged to their fathers, then to their husbands. Dynamics are changing, minds and attitudes haven't caught up yet.

I don't want different things. Your second paragraph is exactly what I'm looking for, but in a man. That's all I need.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
