I was just bitching to a female colleague that I was jelly about the skirts and needing to air out the boys.

Me too. No shorts. No jeans. No printed t-shirts. Kilt? I'll get clarification on that.

Not possible in my profession.
/r/PussyPassDenied12/08/17 02:04 AM

How do we normalize this for the office?
/r/PussyPassDenied11/08/17 09:23 PM

I was just at a conference and concluded that men need to reclaim the skirt/dress. Airing out the gear would be great.

Shaming someone is not a crime and never will be. It's protected speech in the US. Taking a photo of someone where there is an expectation of privacy is a crime. At least in her state.

So often these days I read a headline and think, "well they weren't charged with that. That's not a crime (or protected by 1st amendment). I wonder what the actual charge is ?"

That only protects an individual or identifiable group of people. Those cases are hard to win and rightly so because free speech.

I watched a "funny" video once of some dad struggling to put together a stroller or a crib or something. I was just embarrassed for the guy. Why would he put that out there?

One of the victims is the Dean, a woman, that NOW is asking her employer to punish because of the Dean's actions as a private citizen. NOW wants her punished for exercising her legal rights.

I'm sure that's true.
/r/MensRights12/01/16 06:48 PM

I don't think the schools actually want to deal with this stuff at the level they do. It was the Title IX "Dear Colleague" letter that forced them. http://blog.simplejustice.us/2015/09/26/the-doe-office-of-civil-rights-gone-rogue/

You all up there could always just embrace free speech and other individual rights. Join the free world and stuff.

So they had their constitutional rights violated too.
/r/MensRights25/11/15 09:01 PM

I disagree. We should shun dissenting views and make a safe space for ourselves.

At least in the UK the poor have access to health care.

I don't think it's vengeance. I think the government is hounding these schools to "do something" and "get serious". So the void is being fill by a bunch of eggheads.
/r/MensRights26/07/15 10:57 PM

Why? If I buy a car does the dealer have to pay my loan if I lose my job and can't pay? Although I do like the idea of the university having some skin in the game after graduation.
/r/MensRights20/06/15 08:10 PM

It's legal because it's the university runs itself. They can accept and kick out whomever they want.

I think Bush is more level headed than Hillary. I see Hillary as one methodical political construction. But I really don't want another Clinton or Bush so Canada here I come!

Bunch of my friends are agape with Hillary and really only care that she could be the first woman president. Oh and she went to the same fancy private school they did.

This is also a first amendment issue. If I take a picture then I own the picture. I can do with it what I want. 1st amendment guarantees the right to free speech and I can publish what I want. Even if it's abhorrent. These revenge porn laws will mission creep into a broad area.
