Yeah, this explains my anxiety too, but I’m thankful you said this. Like — if they can’t overlook a simple, silly text, honestly, fuck them.

Update — He asked me for my number today and to go out! It made me feel better bc I wouldn’t have done it. Soooo Do it! You’re already ahead cause you make small talk, we literally never did! He just did it so smoothly and bravely I was like omg I hope he isn’t a player!

A girl here, I’m currently trying to figure out if I’m reading signals right with this guy I work with. We aren’t in the same departments, so we aren’t directly talking and speaking with each other. We always tend to smile at each other, make an effort for eye contact when we pass by, sometimes it’s prolonged, and he always tells me to have a good night. I’m usually rushing out, so I don’t give him a chance, but he’s almost always doing something or busy as well, he’s very cute, and I don’t know…

Literally, mental maturity, intellectual conversations and connection is what I look for. Or a Pete Davidson personality, lol! Oddly, I’ve never been attracted to the hottest guy in the room, my friends have always questioned why, but it’s always been that way for me, and I’m an attractive girl. After talking to those guys I feel like I’ve lost brain cells, like reading this post, and we’ve talked about pointless things that do not even matter… as soon as social media is brought up and their fol…

Yeah, as a woman, it really sucks to read how condescending and disrespectful this sounds, mainly because I would HATE to be one of those girls/has been one of those. you can say this is just confidence, this is also very egotistical. My cousin was exactly like you, great looking dude, pick up and take home absolutely any girl…he couldn’t get married or settled till almost 43 because he was so stuck in a player mindset, now the woman he has married has honestly changed him, I swear I don’t know …

That’s what I’m saying … aren’t there people like that though? 🤔

Yeah, neither do I. I just don’t really give anyone a chance to come close or go out with me, or even get a piece, and will fizz them out through the talking stages and not let them get a thing until I’m for sure they aren’t going to just leave. It’s really unhealthy though, not the most ideal way to go about things. Probably will be alone forever. Lmao.

Here. Running and gym, drinking with a small close-knit group or one on one, and also a love for learning, reading, and nerd shit haha. It’s a balancing act. I feel like I won’t find a guy like me, especially one I find attractive.

I don’t agree with this. Yeah, I think confidence and masculinity go hand and hand, but who gives a fuck how many girls you can fuck. That’s a ridiculous mindset. Can you actually have a connection? Can you maintain one? Can you be emotionally available? Are you respectful? How do you go above the average guy who can “get girls”? Like what the fuck… I find a guy who is respectful, smart, self-motivated, has goals, to be ridiculously attractive. I don’t want my guy, or whoever I’m interested in, …

I’m a female. I personally like Pete Davidson, because he is ACTUALLY funny, which will always win you a girl somehow, unapologetically himself, straight forward, and he isn’t afraid to call bullshit that most people are too afraid of/want to ignore. That is my point, and it is mostly intellect I’ve looked at.

Exactly. He’s a straight forward, no Bs kind of dude, he’s going to give it to you like it is, if you like it or not, which is something that is commonly lacking in society and people. Fact that Kim can deal with that… crazy…I’m sure he’s called her out on her shit…Personally, I look for that, I like that, and I have respect for it. There is no reason to beat around the bush and put up a façade.

I’m the same way! I take a long time to talk to people, just to make sure they are interested, play a little hard to get and sometimes I am just an ass. Maybe it thrives from my own insecurities, but also I don’t wanna go out with someone, if they can’t stick around to chat. It’s like a test I guess, and if they don’t hang around and get bored then oh well. Maybe it’s also self sabotage… there is no logic too it, but this really called me out.

I do not disagree, but I can have a connection with someone, still — it’ll dissipate over time if I am not attracted.
/r/seduction28/07/22 01:33 AM

Not really. I have to be attracted to you as well, or drunk…

Lol, I mean, get hit up plenty but it’s mostly for sex and hook ups

I agree. Women do, do the choosing, but if I’m choosing and you want me to chase you and put in all the work, while I’m being forward, then we have an issue here. I just tend to hyperfocus, so I end up putting in all the work anyways, but when a guy reciprocates instead of just being and doing it’s amazing and such a fucking turn on.

I’m not going to go for a man that doesn’t pursue me
/r/seduction24/07/22 02:40 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
