Than rolling back laws wouldn't solve the damn problem!

You're simultaneously waving around blind faith in people and complete condemnation. A man who assaults a gay man in the most rural parts of Mississippi is not going to face justice the way a man would in NYC. If said assailant even does get arrested, it would be very unlikely that a jury of his peers would convict him. Justice should be blind, WE however, should not be. And don't change the subject. Do you, or do you not, believe that the government should be protecting its citizens from those …

So you, in essence, agree that rolling back protections on gays is not only morally wrong, but it's quite possible that more protections (and thus more laws) might be required to keep the peace. I'm not arguing with you, I'm just trying to show you that taking an absolute position on anything is foolish.

He's generalizing. The left wing does NOT support bigotry against straight white males unless you listen to right-wing pundits. What he's saying is no different than saying "the right-wing is made up entirely of uneducated racist rednecks".

You know nothing of the left wing. Stop listening to your pundits and actually go out and talk to some liberals.

Gay marriage, which I've heard many consider a MRM issue, cannot be resolved by retracting laws, as it will leave gays to the mercy of the mobs in more right-leaning states. I'll give you that government has a tendency to "overstep its bounds", but the right-wing philosophy that removing government will solve all problems is inherently wrong and will create more problems than it solves.

Socialists can be bigots, but so can libertarians. The MRM movement is not on one side of the political spectrum.

I created an account just to tell you that you're an idiot.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
