I’ve also been a victim of the double standard, just as described here. Despite diligently being tested, PrEP, etc, it’s easier to just to remain in the closet.

You assume that the goal is to grow the "movement". I see it more as an individual choice for self-preservation. The actual goal is making life better for tomorrow's men through knowledge and, eventually, repeal of oppressive legislation and the justice system.

You have it backwards. It was not up to Randi to "find the legitimate cases." If you make an assertion about the presence of the supernatural, it is up to YOU to prove your case. He just provided the incentive and the forum for those that wanted to come forward and show evidence, which of course no one ever did.

We could sure use James Randi here, RIP.

She also kind of smacks of daddy issues, doesn't she? Reminds me of an ex-gf, I would occasionally do odd jobs around her house as a favor. If it involved my using a power tool, no lie, she would get all hot and bothered there right on the spot. Later admitted I reminded her of watching her dad, who had passed, use a power drill for some project. I'm like WTF, grow up already.

There's something disingenuous about her. Objectifying, "They are my favorite THING on the planet." Her description is all the fun and games aspect of being with men and nothing of traditional commitment. She brings up promiscuity at the beginning like a disclaimer...and no other evidence to follow of a faithful nature. Not convincing at all.

I loved my daily/nightly martinis, enjoyed them thoroughly and never associated them with being depressed or overwhelmed. It was always a reward for a hard day at work or a home project. But eventually it just made me feel stupid; I can't drive to the gym, or the store afterwards. Also I got easily dehydrated so I had a health concern as well. All I drink now is one beer a day, so far that has worked to satisfy the craving while keeping me engaged with life. Good luck.

OP is right. Let's get back to being helpful toward each other.

I don't know where you're seeing such hatred. Most of what I see are honest assessments of modern women and advice on how a man can establish and maintain their own health and self-worth in a culture that attempts to devalue his efforts.

As a bi male, I can tell you that BOTH genders have their issues re: dating, relationships. Having said that, clearly there are fewer pitfalls with a M-to-M lifestyle. No pregnancy, few if any false rape accusations. In my judgement if your proclivity is toward bisexuality, think carefully about the consequences of your gender choice.

The point of trying is to make the best of a bad situation. I'm focusing on home improvements, my indoor hobbies, and my investments. This WILL pass but we need patience.

The "daddy" hat didn't help her case. Pretty ineffective lawyer, too.

After two boys, I had it done at 39 and had no issues at all. Best decision I ever made, the freedom from anxiety and being in control, was priceless.

You can tell them you're waiting to meet the right one, then shut up about it, nothing else needs to be said. Silent treatment after that. Stand up to them.

After my property settlement and divorce, my USD90K paid off alimony, three vehicles, student loans, and credit cards totaling USD20K. All that's left is a 2.7%, 15-year mortgage which I have only 9 years left on. Do the math brothers.

My advice to both of you...let it go. If he refuses let him be pissed and move on. M and R were free agents, yes it would have been nice to communicate but you have nothing to be peeved about and neither does he. Life is too short for this crap.

Only once, until I saw the upside of her breaking up with me and the crap I'd be leaving behind. Never looked back after that.

Why would we care about their opinion in this sub? If I work out and get in shape it's for me, not a woman.

Far be it from me to criticize your kingship. I have close friendships with both sexes, while still rejecting anything further with women. To each his own.

I have two, one was an ex-fling and one has always been platonic. Women are so much easier to handle when you say goodbye at the end of the night.

Broke up with drama-queen gf. Hand-wired a tube guitar amp during quarantine. Paid off alimony, student debt, credit cards, 2019 vehicle. All that's left is the 2.7% mortgage. Amazing how much you save by not going out. Preparing for early retirement in 2021.

No, don't do it Sandman. They will edit and twist the interview every which way, take you out of context, edit creatively to make you look foolish. MGTOW does not need to be explained, it is quiet disobedience to society, and way too nuanced for a hack like Dr Phil.

I think it's fine to have women as "just friends". Ironically some have pursued me and I had to friendzone them, what poetic justice from my experiences as a young man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
