I had a phase when I hated to celebrate my own birthday, I even dreaded my upcoming birthday this year until very recently. My grandmother died two days before my 16th birthday and my dad or his family didn't celebrate it until over a month later, and during the party all they could talk about was the planning of her upcoming funeral. Who would get the flowers and who would buy my grandfather a white tie, etc. Now I let that aversion go, because my grandmother loved celebrating birthdays. I put …

Reminds me of a story from one of the relationship sub-editor about a woman getting syphilis from her husband and he tried to convince her that he got it from rolling around in the dirty and "cuddling" his mates at military training or something.

Seriously, I'm gushing at the thought of a man asking "Can I kiss you?". It just sounds so awfully romantic I'm honestly not sure if I would be able to stand upright. But men don't care. Evidently they don't want women blushing because of their chivalry (which so many men claim to be dead because of feminism, but if they didn't expect a blowjob from opening doors chivalry would still be alive), they rather have women blushing from humiliation caused by their sexual depravity.

I found the post and it definitely seem to be that they're 16. He's apparently 40!!! And now thinks OP is shaming him...

Definitely. Despite having been a member of FDS for a few months I've still not completely unlearned the "good girl, head down, don't cause trouble" behaviour, but I give myself time to unlearn behaviours that's taken nearly two decades to learn. But I've definitely gained more confidence so I no longer though it out through situations that make me highly uncomfortable and unhappy, but instead actually take a stance to change and clearly state my boundaries. But don't worry about keeping me wait…

We're the same age and I don't think I would've every had the guts to do what you did. So fucking badass ❤ And I'm so curious about what you saw, ngl

Kind of off topic, but what is your favourite historical romance novel? I've read some historical criminal novels as of late, but would love to find some good romance ones that aren't the typical, as you mentioned, bodice rippers that also are what my bookstore seem to want to keep in stock

This is breaking my heart to read but yes. And you are not alone. There is definitely more people having gone through the same thing, too scared to speak up or in denial feeling the same as you were.ĺ

Omg I did not! Both interesting and sad... Made a quick Google search and in the UK HPV is found in 1/3 throat cancer cases and 1/4 mouth cancer. In the younger generation (whatever agespan that is) HPV is found in most patients. But in the USA it's thought to be the cause of 70% of oropharyngeal (had to google that up and it's the part of the throat just behind the mouth) cancer cases. link 1 link 2

Having been a substitute teacher at a kindergarten and also babysitter I think it's mostly just kids copying adults in their social circle and also movies like Disney not them being worried about courting etc. It's one relationship dynamic they see on a daily basis.

To be honest.. my mind now wandered to what if he did like it because it was a genuine reaction to pain and frighten and kept going?

This particular poster probably is, but I've met a guy who thought similar. That dick cheese is natural and can't be the reason a vagina itches (thankfully he never came close to mine)

Physical intimacy only means blowjobs and anal. But another thing is men will remember every detail of their favourite sports team or another interest they have, but God forbid they remember their partner's birthday or an anniversary.

Well, what did you expect? Putting it into his calendar with a reminder and just take you out to dinner or whatever your preferred birthday celebration is, is WAY too much to ask for. /s

Yeah, I scrolled down the comments because I loved the energy with all the praise and hyping up. Basically felt like walking through a beautiful field filled with flowers and then stepping on cow demure. God always with the "take it or leave it". The answer is easy though :) boy byee 👋👋

Literally only men in the comments going on about "dIFfERenT LOvE Languages 🤪🤪🤡" while completely ignoring HER love language. Like ?? The man's love language isn't the one to live by in the relationship....

As a 19 year old myself I could never date a 25 year old. A sane adult would never want to date me, I'm still in school and have near no idea what to do in the "real adult world" like paying taxes etc. So the keyword is sane, because leeching and manipulative scrotes would LOVE to date me..

Women always has to ~talk~ and approach topics gently when talking to men. The comments are filled with ~cOmMuniCaTe~ with him. Because they do not have common sense? Empathy? Intellect enough to understand not to dislocate ones parter's jaw? Still figuring that out.

Yes! I'm so tired of people saying cellulite is "not normal" and somehow equals fat. Like, it's literally a product of how the female body stores fat

I may have sounded well versed in the dating scene in my previous statement, but I'm only 19 and not that experienced when it comes to the last things you mentioned. Going for a coffee seem to be the typical first date and whole I don't think it's the best date idea, I would say it's deemed OK because well, culturally swedes love our coffee and fika. And the marriage thing I think is something more recent (idk why though..) because we have plenty of laws (sambolagen for one) that does give the p…

(Swede here) Definitely. Though I've noticed on my dates that men around 25 never pay for you, but those under 20 insist on covering the bill. Which I just personally find weird because we're just as equally poor, while the older ones actually have a job...

It was two years ago (long before FDS) and I have a theory about him because everything was just kind of odd. The choice of him was a ovulation mistake (duck you biology) and he looked hot in the pictures. I barely recognised him irl. The body was him but face was not. Everything was just sloppy and he had to pause the second he inserted himself. Two days later he was off to military camp/education (idk what it's called). So my theory is that he was a virgin and did not want to arrive to the bar…

I thought that was generous too! One guy even came after just three thrusts..

I could pay for my own dinner, but then I'll arrive to the date in my five year old jeans, a blouse I probably stole from my mom's closet that's from the 90's and no makeup. Because if you won't put out at max 20 dollars I won't use my fancy expensive clothes and makeup. Then we'll see how fun you think the date will be when I don't meet YOUR standards. You don't meet mine? I won't meet yours. But the key word is could, but I won't because I don't want to.

So true!!! "I have my own kinks he enjoys!!" And? His kink is child molestation.

Definitely. I'm 19 and I would never even entertain a 33 year old (going off the age difference) with a chat, much less even a 24 year old. There is a bug reason why older men go after legal teens, young 20's girls.

I'm 100% sure that you're gorgeous and if someone doesn't see that and think you're the very best they could ever get? Then they do not deserve you.

So disturbing.. I almost feel bad because he was just 15, too young for ED and addiction.

So I'm white as hell and literally every non-white man I've talked to sooner or later said "oh yeah, I prefer white women because XYZ" and what I've noticed it's almost always because our "p*ssies and nipples are pink" or some bullshit stereotypical personality trait they've deemed unattractive...

Definitely feel like an insecure woman could take the bait. Laughing at the "clog your hole" because she is ~sO ReLatAblE~ and "chill". He doesn't even have to change the bed sheets he's probably slept in for the past two months or throw his track stained undies in his dirty laundry hamper (that his mother totally bought, including the curtains in his flat)

I ALWAYS cry during those scenes. Queen Latifah's singing. Edna's worry when they don't know where Tracy is and how Wilbur is guilty because he did spend a lot of money without her knowledge. The movie is a master piece

Wilbur Turnblad ❤ Also that he bailed all the segregation protesters out near the end of the movie.

I have a hard time thinking he never showed this selfish side of himself. Like, there would've probably been a time when she was sick for a longer period of time, or maybe a particularly bad period, just something and he showed his ass, but she chose to ignore and dismiss it.

I like changing up the lyrics to "The Wanderer" by Dion. "Oh well, I'm the type of gal who will never settle down Where pretty boys are, well you know that I'm around" [...] "Oh well, there's Tom on my left arm and there's Jerry on my right And Jamie is the guy well that I’ll be with tonight And when he asks me which one I love the best I tear open my shirt and I show him "Joey" on my chest"
