It kind of feels like you flip-flopped here. You said: I don’t hang out with those men [...] so why do you? So I said I wasn't sure about cutting them out of my life. But then you said: Nobody said cut them out You did? That's kinda what not hanging out with people is. If I remove the time I would spend time with them from my life that's the definition of "cutting them out". And sorry to break it to you, but EVERYONE had thoughts hiding under our carefully crafted outside. We are humans after al…

I guess I could cut them out, but that feels a little extreme. I don't have many friends and I value the ones I have. And honestly it feels like most women have such opinions lurking just under the surface. I don't think I'd end up having any female friends if I veto'd all of their sexism. And it would be pretty weird to have no female friends.

I didn't push back against the first. She has enormously strong opinions about these things and she's also dating another friend of mine. I don't want to create drama so I let it go. The second I did push back against. I sat down with her and asked why she said that. She never really took it back, just said things like "well I hear all these things from my married friends. English is also her second language so it can be hard to have nuance. I haven't called out the third for being a hypocrite, …

I currently have 3 close female friends. One once said "men shouldn't be legally allowed to gather in groups larger than 4". I asked her if she was kidding and she said "no". The other once said "men cannot be the victims of weaponized incompetence, only women". When I told her I wasn't comfortable with her saying that she doubled down. The third hasn't said anything outright sexist, but she constantly brings up how men have a responsibility to "stop other men from saying sexist things" in socia…

Not living as long single has nothing to do with wanting sex more. This is more of a pet theory of mine, but I think it does. Depression kills people slowly but surely. Long-term depression has a body-wide effect on organs that leads to a lifespan around 9 years shorter. In a depressed person everything just starts breaking down, leading to premature aging and an early death. I don't have a study on hand, but I recall hearing that single men have a lifespan reduction while single women don't. I …

That's kinda just not how animals work. Look at tropical birds, the males are brightly colored with wild plumage and the females are usually small brown things. The males do fancy wild dances while the females just back and silently judge. Most of the time the female will deem the male "not good enough" and move on. The reason the male bird dances for the female is because he wants her more than she wants him. There's a good evolutionary reason for that, but it doesn't change the fact that that'…

Yeah you’re just straight up lying. Men have never outnumbered women at singles event really hope I'm not being baited here, but if you want receipts, here's what I've got: The first two events were Skip the SmallTalk speed dating. Both of them had websites that sold tickets and both ended up selling out the men's tickets but having leftover women's tickets. (Left image is a screenshot of the website) The third event was a grassroots meetup in a park created by a local woman who wanted to bring …

singles events are mostly women I've been to a few single events the last couple of years. Both men and women were reasonably well represented but there were always more men. The idea that men as a whole are losing interest in women or ever will is just cope. We're biologically programmed to want them more than they want us.

I genuinely think that type of person would still cheat, even if they had the "perfect" partner. I don't think one person would ever be enough for them regardless of who it was. You can't assert that men pursue more than women just because that is "what you see". I absolutely can. 90% of your original post was your own conclusions based on "what you see". I can have conclusions based on "what I see" too. How could you possibly know if a man wants only sex. And even if he said he wants a LTR, tha…

Except that men in that case aren't pursuing relationship, they are pursuing sex. Even if we ignore instances of men hitting on women only for sex and only focus on men hitting on women they want relationships with, there are still vastly more men pursuing women for relationships than the other way around. So my point stands. And you could fairly say that IRL is men being more unfaithful than women by having sex with younger ones. Doesn't that alone show that men have higher standards? I think c…

IIRC most relationships are men pursuing women and most divorces are women leaving men. Doesn't that alone show that women have higher standards? If they didn't they'd be more likely to pursue and less likely to leave but that's not the case.

I think his point is that "feeling completely undesired" is not something most women understand. There is an emotional aspect to sex involving self-worth that most women aren't aware of because they've never been without access to it. I might not want the food in my fridge, but knowing there is food if I ever do want it is comforting and safe in a way that people who have never starved don't understand.

It’s women quoting terminology men use… I've spent a long time consuming r/niceguys style content and I can honestly say I don't think I have every seen a red-piller unironically use "bang maid". I have only ever seen bang maid used by people criticizing those sorts of men in the style of "i bet he just wants a bang maid". Not that it really matters, but I strongly assert that that is a blue-pill originating term.

Hang on, which of these are you trying to say: "If I make men wait for sex it will weed out the ones who aren't interested in commitment" or "If I make a man wait for sex, he will be more likely to commit" One suggests that individual men's behavior doesn't change based on when you have sex, the other suggests that individual men's behavior does change based on when you have sex. Do you mean one of these or something else entirely? Edit: fixed a word

I never said they didn't? u/Financial_Leave4411 said that "men don't need permission" and in practice I don't think that's true.

Honestly feels like I do need women's permission sometimes. My mother gets on my case about being single, my grandma gets on my case about it, my sister does too. Even my female roommate has sat me down and asked why I'm single, telling me that 2 of our mutual female friends were wondering the same thing. Random women on the street certainly don't care but the ones already in my life do put pressure on me. And when I try to explain why I no longer think its worth the effort to try, they brush of…
