Feels great. Did it again tonight with a cute girl my friend introduced me to. There was still a struggle to break away from the group and make individual contact with her, but unlike so many other times when I simply toyed with the idea, I eventually just leaned over and said hello.

Just really learning this. I've been utterly bashing myself for saying the "wrong" thing and losing potential dates even though I feel like I should have known better from what I've read and studied, but shit, how the hell am I going to really learn if I'm not just getting out there and making mistakes? Mistakes are good, and a part of life, even the dating part of life.

I actually have a buddy who looks l lot like him, and I would have never called him "good looking," but once Gosling came on the scene, it was like, "whoa, dude, you look like that guy!" No doubt it helped his swagger.

This was awesome. And totally useful. Gotta man up, son! I don't like some of these that use 9 million acronyms and try to by psudo-scientific. It's just taking some plane sense and smacking people in the face with it. And it was funny as hell, so points for that.

Couldn't agree more. Go do fun shit, even if it's by yourself. I have a terrible memory, so sometimes I actually take mental notes of interesting things that happen durring my day, or when I'm out doing something fun, so I can bring it up in conversation later. But if you're not getting out there, you're setting yourself up to be a boring person.

Very good advice. Part of me feels like these all come at different moments though.
