If they fall for the same scam again though, or choose to perpetually stay caught up in the scam, then that’s due to their own ignorance and we can work to educate them so they recognize scammers. but again, it’s centered around what the victim must do, not the caller, because they’re are plenty of legitimate people who will call. YOU have to learn to use that brain of yours, realize when something’s bad for you, and say NO. And this is what gets me about men who make this argument..you literally reduce your own agency in the situation. No one’s taking power from you, you’re giving it up all on your own.
