2	"What Will We Concede To Feminism": UPDATE My advisor in anthro grad school was a trained psychoanalyst with a philosophy background, so I was immersed in this stuff. Some of it is alright. Iris Young comes to mind. But a lot of it is beyond jargon. Phallologocentrism is pretty directly Lacanian (with a hint of Derrida), as further developed by feminists, especially the French feminists like Cixous or Irigaray. 2	"What Will We Concede To Feminism": UPDATE Lots of replies, so I honestly didn't bother to scroll all the way down to check if anyone said what I'm going to -- which is I would add psychoanalytic feminism to your narrative, as an important part of the development of radical 2nd wave feminism. I agree with you on the Marxist class struggle aspects of radfem, but it was Lacanian/post-Lacanian feminism that built up the cultural concept -- sort of a more sophisticated extension of Marxist concepts like hegemony/false consciousness.
