if a girl says "I love psychology!" and doesn't immediately follow up with her Myers-Briggs score or some other fashion magazine pseudoscience rubbish, then there's a 100% chance she looks like Susan Boyle's uglier sister. You kidding me??.. I've met several very good looking intelligent female psych majors. In fact, I can't remember meeting a smart psych major that wasn't good looking, but that's probably because I didn't bother talking to them.

Nice rationalizations. So how are you not "succumbing to an irrational yet overpowering biological imperative" by watching porn? I mean, to each his own, if porn floats your boat in all the right ways then enjoy it. But the fact that you're belittling skin-on-skin contact in such a way makes me wonder if maybe you're denying some shit in your mind man.

Dude you made a great decision. I stopped watching porn 3 weeks ago, and I already am reaping benefits. My social stuff was pretty good before that so there was no real effect there, but it has made my libido gradually increase over that time period. That makes confidence increase. That makes a lot of things better. Keep it up. Most people on here will defend porn rabidly. Don't listen to them. Go with your gut. Your gut told you to delete all your porn. Your gut knows something. ;D

I think he means overly logical as a personality trait, and not as a mental ability trait. Sometimes it just gets annoying when people correct or argue everything you say because it doesn't fit precisely with the facts as they know them. Pretty much all of reddit has this personality flaw. It's great to be logical, but it gets unpleasant when you just want to have a relaxed conversation. It has its place.
