OP I think you haven’t been in the right relationships. The older you get the greater your circle becomes. At some point it becomes impossible to remove exes from your life entirely. Most often through parenting but often due to shared friendships or work connections. In a healthy relationship your partner has mentally closed the door and blocked their past partners even if they’re still connected on LinkedIn or shared kids or friends.

Agreed. I don’t think it’s common in healthy relationships. Maybe at the end stages peoples attention starts to wander but not in a happy relationship

Excuses aren’t supposed to make sense. The only purpose of an excuse is to absolve yourself from doing anything to improve the situation.

A former landlord of mine had moved away to Asia to find a wife. He sold the building we rented an apartment in, we moved into his unit. The very long term tenants had kept in touch with him. Turns out the woman and her family robbed him and he got stranded there.

They don’t do it for other victims.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/25 02:23 AM

Humans are supposed to be domesticated animals. Are you saying men are gorillas?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/25 02:05 AM

Not true. Rape victims choices are litigated. Sometimes the attackers even say she’s too ugly to rape.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/25 02:04 AM

Because dogs are better at controlling themselves than people
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/25 01:44 AM

Not the same. Being mugged is the result of being in the wrong place at the right time. That is not what people think about rape.

If the imbalance really favors the men they wouldn’t need to be hooking up with less attractive women, they should be able to find ones that are greater or equal.

Women are insulted about the size and shape of their anatomy. Little girls hear those jokes. Women are assaulted and then people say she was asking for it. Little girls hear those comments, too. Women get promoted and men say she slept her way to the top. Women sex workers are dirty gross sluts who are pariahs. Their male customers are just behaving like men. All girls are taught to not give it up too easily so people don’t think she’s a slut. Grow up immersed in a society with these views of se…

I prefer to not be approached at clubs or really loud places. I hate barely hearing what a stranger is saying and hate yelling at them. At a place where people can talk I’m fine if someone just makes small talk about whatever is convenient. Could be what is happening at that place, in the world, the weather etc.

The OP even plans to go overseas to find someone and bring her back here. This woman is supposed to give up her family, friends and everything she has ever known to go to a place where they don’t speak her native language and they don’t have the same foods or customs.

Don’t date people whose profiles come across as rude to you. If you don’t think a list of don’ts is rude then swipe right.

At first they generally are all kind, thoughtful and attentive until they get what they want. Some of them cease to be any of those things are soon as they get laid. Some of them stop after a couple of weeks. Some remain kind, thoughtful and attentive for years.

The point being made is sorority chicks like frat boys. Metal girls like metal boys. And men who are posers in any crowd don’t get women. But go ahead try and convince any woman that is into something that you are, too, so you could date her. You’ll be mocked for being a poser. Maybe try and be a Swiftie. Lots of women like her.

Did you not read the OP, the thread and all of the comments? Metal was the example brought up long ago. No one wants to date a poser. Don’t do stuff you don’t like because you think it will get you a date.

It is only appropriate when a kiss is eminent: you are close to each other, touching or practically touching, facing each other. Don’t say it in other situations.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/24 04:55 PM

If a woman is willing to give you a very detailed explanation of a woman’s perspective in these situations and you choose to explain all of the ways she is wrong you will never get far with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/24 04:19 PM
5

If everything thing is aligned and it seems that a kiss is eminent there is nothing hotter than a man being direct and saying I’m going to kiss you or I want to kiss you. I think a few women have said this. It’s gross if a guy sitting in the drivers seat facing forward says it because it is not the right situation.

All people ideally want attractive partners. Yes, some people may be willing to fuck anyone but they don’t want those people for relationships. Both genders want attractive in shape partners for relationships. Some people realize that they can not find that partner and have a relationship with with someone who doesn’t meet those qualifications but appeals to them in other ways.

Years ago when my oldest daughter was about to go to a bar for the first time I told her to be careful because drunk men are the most evil creatures on Earth. Isn’t there a common belief among men that sex with a crazy woman is the best sex but you don’t marry the crazy woman? No one is marrying or committing to someone they feel is terrible in bed. People commit to people who are the most compatible overall. Sex is just one of the factors. Additionally sex can be improved through communication and practice. Someone’s morals and values are less likely to be improved through communication and practice.

Everyone does have preferences and that is ok. Peoples bodies are all made differently which is perfect because people prefer different things. Women can prefer big dicks, small dicks or in between. I’m currently single. If I were to live with someone again, and we lived in my house, I would like to use my income for paying all of the bills. I could use what I spend on vacations, savings and entertainment to cover his car, car insurance and phone. Then I would like for his income to be shared, we could have an account for us to do things like vacations, concerts, dates with. The rest of the money we could split. We could use the money for whatever we each want and individual savings.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 01:29 AM

You are the one with poor reading skills. The calculator does not give an option for overweight only obese. Yes, most Americans are overweight but 70% are not obese. Probably only 35/40% are technically obese. The stats on my results increase by the amount of overweight and obese people not just the amount of obese people. The delusion calculator for men does have overweight and obese as options. The one for women, as I have written several times, only has obese but uses an inaccurate number.

You believe 70% of men are obese?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 04:43 PM

But the calculator says to exclude obese. Which means they have 70% of men categorized as obese which is not representative of the general public. Overweight, yes, but 70% obese is not accurate.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 03:52 PM

I think the delusion calculator has all men categorized as fat. I’ve left all the parameters the exact same but my odds change from 4% to 40% when I don’t select “not obese”.

It’s probably just a connection thing. I’ve met people that for whatever reason we just immediately became like old friends. Some people take weeks. Some people take months. Some people take years. Some people never get to that level. I’d guess that’s why people who are asexual can sometimes quickly get to a sexual relationship.

Except the men then decide to body count shame. Sleep with one quickly then his true colors show and he turns out to be a jerk. Now you’ve got another notch in your belt. Wait to be sure he’s not a jerk then you’re frigid because no modern man should have to wait that long. There is no way for women to win! Which is a part of why women opt out of dating. No, consoling people after their loved one dies is nowhere near as draining as getting the bugs out of a new app! /s unless it’s a male nurse and a female software developer.

So frustrating how the men on this sub say men would do anything for pussy even as they call it “average pussy” and they complain that women won’t do anything to get dick, especially not average dicks like theirs. Until some one says men place a high value on sex, higher than women place and then they all say: that’s not true! This sub makes me feel sad for all the single women out there.

There is an insane amount of alcoholic and drug addicted parents. There's tons of mentally ill parents, too. There are many neglectful parents. And there are far too many physically and emotionally abusive parents.

There are a lot of horrific parents put there of both genders. There are many situation where children would be better off without their biological parents.

I can say that internet searches are frustrating. Take the how to pick the ripe melon as an example. You search, then look at the results, you need to read through a life story about how the authors family really likes melons blah, blah, blah the advice they give on that site is different than on the next one, which is actually right? Restaurant reviews are rough, too, a solid amount of restaurant reviews are just the unhappy people because they’re the only ones motivated enough to post a review…

In order to avoid a dead bedroom both partners must make the relationship a priority and actively love their partner. The way the people look is not a factor. They got together because they found something attractive about the other. If he’s not a good looking man there was something else that he did to make her attracted to him, maybe he makes her laugh, maybe he is generous, maybe he eases her fears if that stops on either partner’s end the sex ends.

Not just sexual pleasure but prioritize the relationship as a whole. Many partners fall out of love and become more like roommates living separately together.

I’m not a man but this list reads to me like a poorly adjusted person. There’s an expression that’s says something like if everywhere you go people are assholes then you’re the asshole. Sounds to me like he’s an asshole who can only find assholes to date.

Men always date down? Not in most of the couples I see. I match with every man I swipe right on. Therefore I need to sort and sift through and spend my time to finding an actual match. If men didn’t indiscriminately like women the whole process would be smoother. As a result I never last more than a day on apps. Years ago tinder would go up to 1499+ likes, now it just says 99+. I would have the 1499 likes in a day. It’s overwhelming. I enjoy my life and freedom I find men to date through my soci…

700 minutes is over 10 hours a week. The sorting is like a part time job. Why don’t more men spend the 2 minutes per profile instead of mindlessly right swiping?

”it's tiring sifting through dirt to find someone who is a good match for you.” 50 matches per day equals 350 in a week. That’s a lot to go through. On dating apps I will get 100 likes in less than an hour. Most of those men have not read my bio, don’t care about age differences or our distance from each other. They leave it up to me to sift through all of them to find ones that are worth matching with. That’s tiresome, especially if you are content with the current state of your life.

I’m not sure that work is the right term. I prefer thinking of it as actively choosing to love a partner. In long term relationships it can be very easy to slip into the mundane tasks of everyday life and forget to actively choose to love your partner.

I think online has so many options it’s easy to filter out by small things. IRL I’ve dated men who are my height or a little shorter but online I look for men who are taller than me. But, I’ve recently met someone IRL through work acquaintances who is probably 2 inches shorter than I am and I find him attractive due to other less measurable qualities. (He’s funny and smart.)

Pretty common in this sub. If you prove him wrong he will just find another reason to be angry at women.

I think it’s important for people to have their own money out of “our money”. It let’s each partner have freedom with purchases. For example if someone has a hobby they’re able to find their hobby with their portion of “our money” without having to talk to the other partner about the purchase.

Don’t forget it made her physically sick!
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 02:52 AM

Even if he stopped screaming at her, demanding sex and “consensually raping” someone guaranteed that he destroyed any positive feelings she had for him. She said sex with him was so horrible it made her feel sick. There is no going back from that.

Online dating is bullshit. People think because they’ve openly admitted that they want a partner magic is supposed to happen. I think that the expectations that admitting you want a partner then seeking a partner in a forum with other people wanting a partner makes everyone crazy. People future jump. It’s most likely there is no huge immediate spark for people looking for a real relationship and not a hook up. I think people get confused and automatically assume that if we are both looking for p…

My ex owes me over 20k. He doesn’t pay for shit and he never fixed shit. I do hire people to do work for me when I don’t have the skills or time required to do it. This summer, I’ve built and installed a mailbox, installed a dishwasher, rewired a clothes dryer, changed outlets and switches in my house and have been digging out areas in my yard to put gravel borders. I did hire a mechanic to replace my ball joints, he did a great job. I also needed a dentist for a crown, she did a great job. I co…

The problem is that the ones who are gonna dip out act just like the ones who are gonna stick around. I personally don’t have a time frame rule and I just let it happen when it happens. It is really disappointing when someone makes you believe they’re looking for a relationship dips out after getting laid. I could understand in cases where the sex is horrible but in my experiences that has not been the case.

A common excuse for rape is she was asking for it. This is used by men defending the act and by women defending a man. This is the pretty part, pretty enough that they don’t insult you and post your pictures online as a person of Walmart or uggo fatty at the gym but not so pretty that men won’t be able to control themselves because then that will be your fault just ask the women who defend him.
