Why are you still with him?

Or because it's justifiably a lot of fucking work, unrewarding and grueling in ways that a high powered law career aren't. I think it's ok for him to not want to stay home, but he should have said that in the first place, and not assumed she would stay home, and then Weasel out of it when he was the lower earner.

I've stripped. Most of the bachelor party men were trying touch me or fuck me and the other dancers.

I think its just bad writing, and the magazine/website trying to make things "equal" instead of acknowledging how shitty it is for mothers and wives.

I like how you phrased your frugality. Its being frugal but not cheap, I am the same way. I stretch my money but still buy thoughtful gifts, meals out, etc where socially appropriate.

What was his end game? Like you were going to find out eventually. I would also never date a cop, but plenty of people I know would. Like why didn't he just go find a woman whose a bootlicker...... (half kidding there, just very anti police)

Even if that was the "only" (because its never just one) lie my hypothetical husband ever told me, I'd never trust him again. To lie for so long about something so stupid, it would shatter my view of them as a good person.

I've never thought about checking LinkedIn, I'm going to start doing that. I may be too judgemental but if a man is graduated and working on his career he should have a fleshed out LinkedIn profile and it's fishy to not have one, or just plain non-ambitious.

Back when I was on OLD a lot, guys would lie about their ages and first names a lot. I would immediately drop them if they did that (even pre-fds) and they would be shocked! outraged! like DUDE how the eff am I supposed to believe anything you say after your profile says your name is Antonio and your facebook says Fernando, and your snapchat username is Ricky.

My aunt had a stroke and broke her pelvis when she gave birth. My mom had post partum psychosis and was never the same after. Pregnancy is an enormous risk. If its truly what you want I think you just need to do lots of research, ask about the women in your family who had given birth, prepare yourself with enough money and supports, and accept the risk.

It just makes me think about them 45 taking care of a senior citizen instead of enjoying their prime

They can have their "dream girl" and still not be afraid of losing her. Some men just don't care, or they are too stupid too.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/02/21 05:01 PM

I think we need to let go of the dream girl trope. A lot of men will put in low effort now matter who you are. They just don't care. They might love you lots, but they won't love anyone but themselves enough to be a good boyfriend. They know they can be low effort and still have a woman they love, so why would they change?

Men who make a huge joke out of pretending to want to fuck their buddies are so gross to me. Like it's so incredibly homophobic, and also not funny. The funniest thing you can think of is gay sex? How pedestrian.

Women approach men and initiate all the time, why do they act like it's rare or unheard of? THEY just don't get asked out a lot probably because they aren't that attractive.

I think it depends, I think certain specific things get better and worse. My grandfather's generation was good at housework, for example. But probably bad at other things

When I was dating my ex, he often left his underwear at my place after sleeping over cuz he was in a rush I guess and was generally too lazy/didn't like to wear underwear. Pretty often they had stains, and I would just quietly throw them away. I can't fucking believe I did that. How do you get stains on boxer briefs??? My god damn thongs don't get stained

You have to wash yourself really thoroughly, and scoop out the liquid before you get dressed or go anywhere. I'm not defending it, I don't like being came in, but you shouldn't have it leaking out of you lol.

My ex boyfriend destroyed his phone drunk, and he didn't remember how to log into ANY of his accounts. He didn't know any of his passwords. Work email, personal email, facebook, banking. He had an anxiety meltdown over it. I comforted him. I begged him to set up a password manager (keeps track of this shit for you) and he said he did it whenever I asked him. He never did it.

I don't think they should ask your schedule or when you are free, I think they should suggest a date and time, and then the woman can either say yes or suggest a day that works better for her.

Yeah, they could do the things we do. They just don't. And then whine that WOMEN aren't doing enough for them. Nothing is stopping them from opening up to male friends and family.

I'm with you, in exactly the same situation except we've only been together 2 years. I'm 26, work part time, school full time. When we first moved in we fought every week about housework. He's the laziest person in the world, immature, dependent on his family, thoughtless. I wish I knew if he hid his true self from me, or if he just changed, got too comfortable, etc. He blames it on depression too. When my grandpa or someone else can't find something but then find it shortly later they say "I was looking with my man eyes", it's kind of a tongue in cheek way to make fun of this trope.

It's an innocent idea, but it comes off as selfish and stingy. Relationships shouldn't have score cards, nobody should keep track of what was been given and taken. And knowing the climate of dating these days it looks even worse. It's hard to find a man with bare minimum amounts of effort put on, god forbid you want a generous or selfless man

I don't know, I think there's a deeper analysis of performing femininity aside from the pick me trope. This feels kind of shallow intellectually, and I think this sub and other radfem social media throws women under the bus too much. Pick me type women are victims, we were all them once. It's not productive or radical to shit on them all the time. Like, if you do anything at all to look pretty, are you a pick me? I think patriarchal oppression is more complicated than a dichotomy between two per…

I see that too. It infuriates me, I would find out an ex was a totally different person with friends, and feel deeply betrayed, like I didn't know who they are and they lied about themselves. Swearing, saying slurs, etc.

I've noticed that so much. A lot of the men I've known have had the same friends since college/highschool but actively dislike them. Like why man??? They also have no loyalty. Someone sexually assault a man I know, and his best friend was joking about being the predators friend, saying he didn't get assaulted so he doesn't care.

Once I was walking down the street home after a disappointing night w my friends, I was hungry and wanted to see familiar faces so I was going to go into a restaurant I worked at at the time for dinner. This man accosted me outside and asked me to get a drink with him, I said no I'm hungry. So he said he wanted dinner. I'm offended that the gyno have you numbing cream. I think he assumed you had vaginsmus, but that's not even treated that way. He should have talked to you about anxiety and stuff. And then dilators are used as a last resort. Numbing cream seems like he prioritizes someone's dick getting in there over you feeling comfortable

I hate women's athletic wear right now and I think it's soooo tacky. All the leggings are skin tight, skin tight shorts, crop tops that ride up. And socks pulled over your leggings wtf. I bought a trendy gymshark ombre set and it was literally the least comfortable thing I've ever worn

He didn't have wifi wtf! I think it's so unattractive and irresponsible when people don't have basic things like internet, and a working cell phone. How many times did I let LVM use my phone or computer or let them call me or text me from their buddies phone 🤦‍♀️

I don't want to be judgemental or something, but honestly it is a red flag. There may be HVM who watch anime casually, but every man I've ever interacted with who watches anime has many undesirable qualities. I'd take a man who plays video games over one who watches anime

Men literally get so salty and jealous of pets. I'm not a cat lady (tho I do love cats) I'm a small dog lady and so many dudes have talked shit about small dogs or women having dogs to me. They just hate to see us happy, independent, and loving and caring for something cute that's not a man.

I used to be a daily pot smoker too, and realising how much money I was spending, how much time I lost, and how dependent I was when I was stressed out made it easier to quit. I do it maybe once or twice a month now, and I feel better. But it also wasn't the panacea to my depression... It's really sick that the news outlet made her the cause of her own demise, instead of saying he stalked his victim because of a sick obsession. He wouldn't leave her alone because he was delusional and entitled and psychotic.

It's really disturbing and makes me really sad that some (most?) men will have those kinds of thoughts and feelings. Personally my default is to not lie, cheat, etc. I don't have violent thoughts unless I've been actually violated, and I would never hurt someone physically.

Lack of respect is what has killed the sex in all of my past relationships. They let me down over and over again so I didn't respect them or trust them, and definitely didn't want to fuck them.

Yeah I was promiscuous and risky as fuck when I was younger because I had serious trauma, I didn't know what was normal behaviour or treatment from men, and uncontrolled bipolar made me impulsive and reckless. Now my friends call me a prude because I tell them it's a stupid idea to have sex with a man on the first time you meet him.

It's not a negotiation as much as it is vetting to see if you are a good match. Negotiating implies you are giving things up imo, I negotiate my salary to get the most benefit for myself, I don't negotiate my relationship because we aren't in opposition, we are on the same side. I think a better word is compromise, and just communication about expectations and needs.

I used to be a stripper and as awful as that job was, I would still recommend it over online porn. At least there is no evidence for the future, no real names, and you can make some money every shift. Nobody would know unless I told them. Stripping is obviously much more physically dangerous and demanding, but with only fans you could be black mailed, exploited, stalked, and black listed from jobs for just a few hundred dollars, and your "content" will be floating around forever
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/21 05:42 AM

She shouldn't have jumped over to boy girl porn. Her softcore career was big enough. She's going to make less and less money and have worse and worse effects of that kind of lifestyle. She used to say she was going to retire at 30 from selling nudes. Doing porn ruins your life and future prospects as a woman.

There's this insidious thread in culture that wants to make us think that fit, attractive men are also shitty people, and that to be a good partner emotionally you have to be sloppy. The same is not true of women, there's no articles aimed at men to date plain or fat women because they have better hearts. They just want to drag down our standards, and avoid having to put any effort in.

I was worried about this after an ex had a hissy fit when I took my vibe on a trip with me. I looked it up and a regulator sex toy doesn't desensitize the clit or our sexual response, especially not the way death grip or jerking it to abusive weird shit does. Comparing porn to a sex toy isn't even a fair comparison.
