Most feminists who make statements such as this don't actually care about equality. The reason many of them still support the movement is quite simple - they benefit from it; consequences to others be damned

My assumption is that this is in the US, right? I am not an American, but I think this constitutes a violation of Title IX. I know a lot of people here are suggesting that you use the female restroom as an act of protest, and while I understand their frustration, I wouldn't necessarily suggest this course of action. I most agree with the two of you. In my country, there was a recent hackaton and app development crash course aimed entirely at high school girls. Personally, I am not fond of anything like that being gendered (especially when the advertising belittled boys), but what made it worse was the fact that boys don't actually have an avenue to pursue or explore CS properly either
