I mean... is it tho? masculinity is broad and hard to define. I like some aspects of it and dislike others

well, I'm not entirely sure what you mean but I certainly dont expect my partner to "perform" for me. they dont need to be the breadwinner, they don't need to be the "big strong man that can provide and fight off weaker men", that's a stupid assumption. I find overly "macho" (gonna use that term because I cant think of any better way to put it than toxically masculine and yall dont like that) men to be immature, and they often have unaddressed anger issues that cause a lot of problems. my partne…

being perfectly 100% honest, no. I don't expect a man to be the breadwinner, and I don't want to have children. ideally, we both work at jobs we like and that pay fairly

if you were correct there would be very few happy relationships in the world... oh shit is that actually what you guys think?

Keep legs closed, keep in shape, keep the kids happy. That's the show. so a women's "basic duty" is to bear your children and take care of all of their needs, be attractive to you, and stay "pure" for you? that sure says a lot about how you perceive women

not all women are toxic scumbags my dude

women have a higher suicide attempt rate men just use firearms more often; a large factor in most homeless people being men is the sex trafficking trade

ok fine. but you still see these people dating men, being friends with them, etc. the logic doesn't follow. besides the hatred and discrimination of women is rooted deep throughout history. so it's like a black guy saying "fuck white people" versus a white guy saying "fuck black people". one of them is systemic prejudice and one is a response to that.

well some people think differently. i think my body, my choice. If I ever get pregnant, I'm getting an abortion. many, many women will do the same. and theres nothing you can do about it cuz u cant control womens bodies :)

yeah, you're right. but I do believe theres an important distinction in the groups, and one of them has people with an insane amount of rage and hate. some incels say (completely seriously) they want to rape women, or kill all of them, or keep them as slaves or some fucked up shit like that. never in all my days have I seen a woman who actually, legitimately wants all men to die.

but many people do believe it is subjective, making it subjective :)

it is subjective whether or not a fetus or zygote is a person. it is not subjective whether a walking, talking, adult human is a person.

then naturally you'd see these type of women committing mass shootings oh wait

but like you're suggesting that men "buy and sell bitches" and that's actual slavery

soooooooo slavery?

HE describes them as anger issues. I recognize the emotional repression thank you very much, and I would much rather he deals with his emotions in a healthier way. Men also simply cant have physical validation because they cant ever be sure if a woman truly finds them attractive uh... I'm p sure my boyfriend knows I find him physically attractive. erections are not the only way to tell if someone's turned on. >Also, unlike women, men must provide, so he can never be sure is the woman with him be…

idk man I have a traditionally masculine bf who's strong and all that, and one of his worst traits is his anger issues and I don't think that's a coincidence at all. I would actually love it if he went to therapy.

I also believe that conception is not where life begins, so I guess it's irrelevant.

I'm only saying that there's no scientific definition of 'conception'. it's all up to interpretation, which means that's your opinion

I never want kids. not the path for me. I do need companionship, but that doesn't mean a male partner. besides I swing the other way too, so what about "biology" when it comes to gay couples? not everyone's hardwired the same, if you even believe in that.

okay what I mean by "I don't need a man" is I do not need a male partner's support, financial or otherwise, to succeed and be happy in my life. that being said, yes having a partner is a good thing that I happen to want in my life. I'm not saying that I don't need to rely on people who are close to me (who may be male partners). so in that regard, I do need my boyfriend. I don't need a man, but I do need a certain man. I can build a life with someone and happily share it. in fact that's what I'm…

of course. I'm saying I dont need a man, not I dont want a man.

I'm just saying that the reason you gave up those earlier beliefs shouldnt be for the purpose of finding a man. a good life partner would support one in those beliefs. (and this is not at all intended to dismiss your beliefs but believing in the right to an abortion for others even though you disagree with it yourself is called being pro choice)

what's wrong with "my body my choice"? what's wrong with "I dont need a man"? what's wrong with "I'm building an empire"? I believe all of those things are more important than "prospects for a husband"

I checked this out. it's actually due to gender bias that this happened- "Men tend to organize social relationships in a hierarchical order and subscribe to a morality of rights. Females value interpersonal connectedness, care, sensitivity, and responsibility to people. Kohlberg's scoring criteria give the interpersonal care orientations of females lower ratings than the principled justice orientation." That's from NCBI. theres no gender with a "higher" level of morality. that's ridiculous. besi…

are you saying that women are biologically less smart or mature than men? because that's scientifically false
/r/MGTOW04/01/20 10:53 PM

if you look at the corresponding one for women it looks completely different... jesus this is so creepy... how can people think this is ok

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
