Thank you for this post. I get frustrated when shit happens and I miss workouts. 1 workout then 3, a whole week and then 3 out of the gym. Then back and try and set a PR because I’m greedy, then DOMS like a MF. It gets frustrating. Patience and consistency are key. But when you deload and someone else has your plates on their bar, you know you should be lifting twice what they have on it, but things got in the way and then you made excuses... No more excuses. Own it, and do the work.

Great FR, thank you for sharing. What did you mean by, "deliver these lines like a punk", though?

Day 17: I got 7.5 hours of sleep. Went to bed at 10:45 PM and got up at 6:15 AM. Why am I doing this again? It doesn't feel like I'm being held accountable. I miss three days in a row and no one catches it, no comments, no up/down votes, no review, no evaluation, no point. Am I caught up in the spam filter or shadow banned or something stupid like that?

Again, these are people with "great or remarkable achievements" regardless of children. The average joe-blow who has a child as a last-ditch effort to leave something behind falls well short of immortality.

Then your great-grandfather was someone who, according to Bertrand Russell, had a shot at immortality through a "great and remarkable achievement", not simply from having children. He most likely would've been remembered regardless of whether or not he had had children. edit: moved a comma

I disagree with the shot @ immortality. Having children, and raising them, does not grant us this by any means. Your son may respect you, and your grandson may cherish you, but his children who now only contain <15% of your genetic material will not remember you, will not think of you, and will barely resemble you.

You're an exception because you have good reasoning for choosing black. If you're not sure, navy is usually much more appropriate (job interviews, etc.)

Just a note on the suits: If you can only afford one, go with a dark navy. If you can afford two, navy and grey. Not black!

I want to agree with you, but if the sexes were reversed there is no way that this would be labeled as anything other than a violent, sexual assault. It is not okay to have this double standard. If the girls hadn't posted the incident to YouTube then I don't believe it would be as serious. The fact that they are trying to publicly humiliate him - this is textbook bullying and has led to a lot of pre-teen and teen suicides. I believe these girls need to be charged, if nothing else, due to their s…

Make up something different every time. This makes you be more interesting and creative. See how far out you can go and still have them believe you. "Naturally impressive" jobs are overrated, I wouldn't want a bunch of shark wrestler groupies following me around just because they think my job is interesting.

How to Find Love While Being a Male Engineer

I'm gonna go with no. She's the bartender, she can serve herself whatever she likes. As stated before, talk to her when it's quiet, before it's too busy. Go early if you have to. Talk, but more importantly listen. Find out what she likes, ask her what her favourite drink is. How about her favourite non-alcoholic drink? Don't just ask and run away though, looks creepy, ask it in the middle of the conversation or as an opening and then lead into chat of the weather, the game on TV, and the big par…
