I'd keep seduction tactics and business separate. The whole idea here is that you have nothing to lose. If one girl doesn't like you, you move on to the next one. Finding a job if you get canned or lower your personal perception is a little bit harder. And don't joke about not being paid enough in that context. You made the request - let them either pay you more or you interview elsewhere. Worked for OP but I don't want to see someone else try this shit and get slapped in the real world for it.

I'm gonna have to disagree. He went and left her this sentence "I'm willing to put in the time necessary to earn my way into your life". That phrase to a girl who considers herself high-maintenance will simply re-affirm her attitude that shes on top.
