Bro if you meant that then you could've said that, instead of making it seem like he should quit. I agree - he needs to change things up as he continues, esp if he's getting no results. But he shouldn't stop trying.

What else is he going to do? Just quit? Keep going OP.

When you stop trying to fix people and just start enjoying your time and not caring, you'll have a much easier time. Realized this recently as well. When you stop trying to fix everyone into your beliefs, you tend to enjoy life/the moment way more. If people/friends ask you "Oh man you're doing so well - what do you recommend I do..." etc, then sure maybe tip toe into the RP. But for the most part, you're going to sound like a woman hating asshole. Which isn't true obv.

Richard Cooper (Entrepreneurs in Cars) had a great speech on this at the 21 convention: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2v1wFw9LfU&t=2275s This is almost required for you to watch I feel. Rich is a RP legend, and has scars worse than you. He touches on his story a bit in the beginning. Essentially - just be better and do the work others don't want to.

If you haven't been lifting efficiently for at least 5 years...do not take steroids lmao. If you aren't making money from your physique, theres almost no point to steroids outside of vanity (unless you have unhealthy T-levels - then you should consult your doctor).

Pushups, chin ups, pullups, put rocks in a backpack and curl that shit. All to failure for 3-4 sets. No excuse to get fat in quarantine.

Slight caloric surplus, sufficient daily protein intake, good strength/gym program that consistently keeps you in the gym 4-6x a week, one that you follow for at least 3 months before moving onto another. Realize that it takes a lot longer than you think. It will take a minimum of 2 years day in and day out of doing everything right to make a serious transformation. Even then, you're likely going to be disappointed in the progress you make in 2 years. It really takes 5-10 years to build your dre…

Honestly tried the apps for a week or so. Even tossed a shirtless pic on there (I’m in decent shape) for a couple days. Didn’t get much traction. Figured I’d dump it and start actually trying to meet people.

In a similar spot, however I am 23. I go through phases of feeling unstoppable, and others of feeling really off center. Currently, I feel the latter. I refuse to take those meds as well. I'll grind it out and work my issues without them through therapy and pushing myself through uncomfortable situations (presentations, dates, networking events, etc.) Just keep lifting, keep progressing, and the rest will fall in place.

I just started a cut as well. Bout a week in, dropped my calories from 2700 (maintenance) to 2450 daily. If I dont lose weight in two weeks at a steady rate, ill drop another 100 cals. I'd recommend the same. Patience on a cut will yield saving muscle in the long run.

You say you're not tracking progress or calories. If you want half ass results, then sure, keep giving it a half ass effort. Nutrition and tracking your weight are the best ways to keep you from gaining too much weight too rapidly on a bulk - which is usually the prime cause for too much fat gain. When you grow slowly, you look denser and thicker in t-shirts, not fat. With your shirt off you won't be as lean, but you can't grow unless you sacrifice lean-ness for a bit and eat. You need to eat to…
