2	seriously... 10 4. You may be right in this particular context, probably are. But I've read this exact dialog in other forums. Not at a protest, but a woman telling the same story with the clear intent of rubbing it in (I know many in the med field, including SO). Usually with an additional line or two at the end that eliminates any doubt as to the "smug" intent. FWIW, I like this version better. Great message, not personal. 0	seriously... I disagree. I run into an ex girlfriend and I ask her "Miss or Mrs.?" She smugly says, "Dr." My reaction, based on my comment above, would be, "I'm really happy for you. Take care." And I know I'm a good dog owner and responsible member of society. But I also don't own these dogs because they are "cool" or because I'm trying to look tough.
