My apologies, I was responding to the person saying you would need evidence showing pattern of threat or violence. I wanted to explain that in some states the all that is required for an order of protection was to claim you were afraid. I understand the reasoning and need to protect victims of domestic violence, but it has allowed some to abuse the system.

Not in my state, there is no burden of proof required. Only that you feel afraid by their presence.

Get ahead of this man. IMO "they" want out and their "attorneys" do the obliterating. Either make serious efforts to repair things very soon. Or, do this one, hire the most ruthless female divorcr attorney you can afford in your area. Then start making appointments to speak with all ofher recommended divorce attorneys in the hope of creating conflicts of interest so she can't hire them.

Yeah the lawyer is really good, but we don't get along. But I ain't paying him to agree with me. Yeah I agree with diagnosis, it came a year ago after a bad affair, drinking binge, and failed SA. The first time I was committed, labor day weekend, was bulshit they were going off her accusations and past history. The 2nd time I swallowed all my meds and went into a coma. So it was legit.
