Feminism is for everyone, but hurt people often want to hurt people and that's where we keep getting stuck. We all need to push back against a narrative that "men are irredeemable animals who should be disregarded." I think it's easier to understand as a backlash. It's human nature to feel vengeful when you feel wronged. And a lot of women have been hurt badly by the men in their lives. (That doesn't mean the vengefulness is productive. But it helps put it into context.)
