Thanks, I just posted a reply that was way longer than this but you summed it up well. Feminism is for everyone, but hurt people often want to hurt people and that's where we keep getting stuck. We all need to push back against a narrative that "men are irredeemable animals who should be disregarded." Honestly thank you for asking the question and opening dialogue! I think about this a lot. I think it's easier to understand as a backlash. It's human nature to feel vengeful when you feel wronged. And a lot of women have been hurt badly by the men in their lives. (That doesn't mean the vengefulness is productive. But it helps put it into context.)
