In no way am I saying they shouldn’t be held accountable. Imposing your will and telling them to get fucked when pushed too far is how to do it. I disagree that they keep “only a few people content” though. Customers love the service. Governmental intervention is a tool for weak people without leverage. It keeps people dependent on higher authorities, erodes autonomy, and will bite you when establishing your own business. Large mega corps can usually get around it, but you can’t.

Agreed. I usually keep it internal/am not this transparent irl, and am more cooperative than these posts may suggest. Have learned how to apply this mindset subtly/diplomatically.

Concise summary: many seemingly immovable "laws" and systems are just other people's frame. Challenging them (intelligently) and imposing your own frame makes you stronger, and I've had success doing so.

What is it that you think I'm unsure of? I know this works because I've lived it. My angry idealism has paid off. I dropped out of school out of disgust and earn more than friends who've continued on that sandboxed path. I've accepted that this might stop working, or that I might find a barrier too difficult to cross, or that a mob edged on by people that don't like dissent might some day tear me apart for some inane, stupid fucking reason. I don't care. I'd rather live as an angry idealist than…

By building your own system, I mean building anything you run or have more say in. That could mean your own distribution center and online retail system, sure. He built one. Someone else can build another one. It's extremely non trivial, and the fucker has put all kinds of roadblocks in the way via legislation, but enough people are sick of the Bezos shit that they're willing to entertain alternatives. Not everyone can do that, it's extremely time intensive and risky, will take years, etc etc. B…

Glad I'm gone, but we can't deny if this is the product of capitalism, then its working exactly as intended. ol' Jeffrey has jobs, and if you don't like it, there are plenty of other suckers who need to be paid min wage just to survive who will suck it up.. For about a week. Ad infinitum No, you dumb fuck. Free market capitalism thrives when the "suckers" say "fuck this, I'm building my own system". Learn how to organize with others to build your own shit. I've been there too with this whiney ph…

Singular, not plural. They might lose who they’re with if who they’re with feels threatened, like she doesn’t have enough attention/control. Or if they get out of shape/just focus on the money. But the potential dating pool almost always expands as money expands.

Picture what the top 20% looks like/does. If everyone fit that profile, all those people would still be physically attractive, strong, have a decent income, etc. They would be a lot better off than if all that was missing. In terms of social status/rank, yeah, that percentage stays constant, and there will always be a much stronger bias in women towards the ranking in and of itself, but the reality is that very few people manage to get out of their own way and improve themselves, so that's not g…
