What is the major injustice this proposal is resolving? Child support from unwilling fathers? From a pragmatic standpoint an abortion must be performed before week 24 (20 would be better) but the proposal says he must answer 3 weeks prior - so 21 weeks. Now consider that menstrual cycles are irregular so it may be 5-8 weeks before she is sure/confirm by test. Then lets say this form is completed and delivered promptly - now she has to wait up to 10 weeks for an answer? Right. What feminist is go…

As a Men's Rights sub, I am surprised at the mostly positive responses - this is very limiting to men's rights. 'Guy wants to be a father' but mother has 100% of the decision making. I can see where this might even be used maliciously to let a man know he has a child (potential child) but then abort that child. This is cruel. Why even let him know if you have no intention of keeping the baby?
