Surgery was basically the only thing on the table. With the greatest respect, if you had it done before you were sexually active then you don't know what you are talking about. I fully agree. I had it done in my 30s and it was way more pleasurable before. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a medical need. Even then i would look into alternatives to the full circ

I'm the guy you need to talk to as I got it done when I was in my early 30s. I had it done for medical reasons but I still wish that it hadn't been necessary. It is now more than 10 years since I had the operation and sensitivity is much reduced from when I had a foreskin. The wife originally had a plea deal in place to get a sentence of three years but the judge threw it out. She was then caught passing notes to her husband in prison basically asking him to lie and say she was pretty much innocent. The judge took a dim view and actually gave her a longer sentence than the guy who stole the secrets! Can confirm the sensitivity reduction part. I got cut in my late 20s and it's definitely a lot less sensitive now at 41. I miss my foreskin ☹️

Sally he won't have "normal" sensitivity if normal means equivalent to an uncircumcised penis. The constant rubbing of clothing against the glans toughens the skin, reducing sensation.

I can offer some thoughts. I was circumcised in my late 20s for medical reasons and I'm now in my early 40s. Sensation is definitely much lower post circumcision than it was previously. I was circumcised for medical reasons as an adult in my late 20's. Its now about 13 years later and I can offer the following anecdotal views for what they are worth: ​ 1) My penis is a lot less sensitive than it used to be before i was circumcised 2) The loss of sensitivity makes things like masturbation less enjoyable. I have to be quite rough with the old chap now and I suspect that just causes further reductions in sensitivity 3) Cumming is still good but harder to achieve. I can go for ages…

Well if we are going down the road of preventative amputation why stop there. Enforced mastectomies at birth would do wonders for the fight against breast cancer and save a lot more lives than circumcision.
