I answered a question about why Kavanaugh's accuser would refuse to testify in order to demonstrate that the claims might still be valid. The point was that men's rights simply means presumption of innocence under the law in this case. You cried fake news about the death threats, as though that's at all relevant -- it's not. I'm sure she got some rightly deserved criticism. But I have no reason to doubt that she's gotten actual threats. It seems like you're using her as an example to say that popular (and apparently left leaning) figures lie about getting threats. You're making this political. Why does any of that matter here? Also, lots people are very willing to voice their thoughts on politics, especially on events like the ones you mentioned. I have zero reason to doubt either of them got death threats. Crying wolf about death threats is a shit ploy if I even heard of one. All that does is garner sympathy sympathy for the person, not their views. I think the reason for this kind of wording is to prevent people from choosing to be deadbeats and then claim that they can't pay because they don't have a job because they chose not to. If the law included intent not to pay, it would be much more difficult to enforce in these situations.
