Oh lmao. I thought that by "Not sure how they misinterpreted it" you meant that they were correct in their assesment of my argument.

Then you also misinterpreted me buddy. Putting effort into redpill tactics and self improvement is not the same as putting the classical gentleman effort into a girl. The "if she's into you you don't have to do shit" is a very blue-pill take. It is just another way of saying "there's a woman that will love you for who you are and you will just click, don't go to the gym and don't go out and don't become an interesting person because you already are perfect to someone." Guys that are getting girl…

Perhaps I didn't explain myself well. Going all in would be putting the effort in the things that actually work at attracting women (looking your best all the time, socializing a lot, opening yourself to options and playing other women). I wan't saying to put the effort on the woman herself.

Yeah, and the means she has to get that attention are ever expansive and accesible. That's why the competition has gotten so brutal. I find that as a man your two best strats are to go all in or not at all, because any half ass effort will be trumped by a more dedicated man.

Perhaps only tangential to the topic, but I think delusion of grandeur and ignorance of flaws is an S+ way to pull girls. The most succesful guy with women I met was kind of an idiot and a narcissist to an almost pathological point. Like, we were eating at McDonald's and he would be arguing why his burger choice was the best one, and definitely better than mine (with no joking or irony involved). Kind of like Trump does, now that I think about it. His mentality was "my life is the best life. My …

What? What world are you guys living in? You've elected one fool over another one and you celebrate? You've fallen into the binary trap I guess. "Oh I'm glad I get to eat cat shit, much more palatable than dog shit" If you think the Trump administration is any more capable of maneuvering geopolitically you're in for some bad news.

That is literally what I just said. And it isn't inconsistent with my first point that you can't will yourself into not WANTING a relationship.

Well, of course you can abstain if life gets in the way. But just listen about what sailors sang, watch which items and photos soldiers took to the battlefield... Wanting something is not the same as shriveling up and dying without it. You can go to the sea because you need to get paid to eat and still want a relationship. I think you're confusing wanting with needing.

Both the average man and average woman live in relative poverty, have a tough life full of work with little to no free time and the ocasional relief of sex. They dream on living on the first world, and wonder how it must be there. "Running water and sewage, internet, democracy, security... it must be heaven! They sure must be enjoying their time there instead of worying about stupid sexual hierarchies on internet forums!" Please look away from your own hedonistic treadmill from time to time, and…

It's kinda economically beneficial that men are clueless about how to attract women. Career focused men are essential for the economy. And I know, population growth is also important, but unlike women, you just need a small percentage of men to do that job. I think the reason is kinda darker. Our societies work (and have always worked) so that only the minority of good genes get passed on. Many men are just not supposed to learn about that.

You get treated better if you look better in every social situation. I'm not a leader at ALL, but every time I'm with my friends and we're approached by an individual as a group, he/she talks to me, because I am the tallest by a margin. It has gotten to the point where I have become the "spokesman" of the group. From little things like rejecting street vendors to bigger things like being the one who does a live interview on tv. I already told you I can't take your personal experience as evidence of anything else than, well, your own experience. If you keep bringing it up, I'll start thinking you just want to show me how oh so desirable you are that men can't contain themselves for you. Please keep it objective, discuss ideas, not events, not people. Anyway, now that we've found somewhat of a common ground it's time to get constructive. Im saying the interactions were awkward, not the men. I'm saying the men are desperate. One tip: read my posts with an objective eye before getting worked up about the strawman you're imagining me to be. You seem to assume I'm an apologist of this kind of behaviour from men. I'm not. Also, your personal anecdotes and experiences, altho important to you and your way of seeing the world, are not proof of anything. Good to know you can defend yoursef physically, tho.

Being so desperate they try to force physical contact =/= entitlement. Those really akward interactions you've had with men probably come from then being really bad at faking confidence of security on themselves. The male version of a pickme is a "Ipickeveryone" I guess, due to their biological active role on sexual selection. They're basically polarizing every girl they know with the thought of "maybe 99% hate me but 1% is into it". It is not entitlement, it is plain desperation and a self dest…

You are making a mistake listening to them. There are reasonable and objective women out there. You're completely right, however I find a more diplomatic approach to this conversation to be more effective on convincing feminists than direct confrontation (telling the truth as it is). I think I am not as brave or motivated as you, so I navigate life in a more machiavellian way, even on the internet. It is a good habit in this social climate. I also think all of this debate is pointless, and no matter how good the points you make are, society will sway towards neoliberal feminism until it ec…

That is your concept of feminism. Ask a different person and you will get a different answer. Why do you get to dictate what feminism stands for? What makes your take better than a neoliberal feminist's? I think that's why so many people don't wanna asociate with it. There's no actual definition for it, only an enormous group of people who identify as that but that have barely nothing in common. Until your leadership makes that cut clear, the name will be associated with your very attackable str…

Hey! European here. It IS the same here, cancel culture is more prevalent than ever. In my country we even have a specialized word for cancelling. It would be great for a while, altho our brains would eventually adapt to the dopamine overdose. Also, if we gave us some millions of years, female sexuality would return to normal, as it is optimal to create succesful offspring.

Besides every feeling of inadequacy, insecurity and non-exclusiveness that the girl can have, porn is extremely unhealthy for the consumer. Fucks up your frontal lobe (motivation, willpower, discipline, long term memory and planning etc).

Except you still have to pay the bills, so you still have to get a job in an increasingly competitive market, where the demand for jobs is so high that the pay many times isn't enough to sustain yourself. Women work, yes, but the market reacts: Now mantaining a house costs 1.6 wages instead of 1 because they know the woman will also bring a wage in. That's why adquisitive power has lowered so much since the boomer era, where the workforce was half the one today.

Yes. Could not agree more. Everyone should shut up and for once try to understand the whys of this situation and to acknowledge that this isn't going to solve itself because it's not socially enforced, but a natural biological reaction to our current conditions. Lamenting won't do shit for neither men nor women. Adapt or die, same as always.

You don't know what you have until you lose it. It's no use trying to explain that with words. Also it could be that you're not really attractive but you think you are.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/19 12:20 PM
2

Well natural selection says otherwise. Attractive and young women have enough of a pull on men that they benefit from being passive and selective bc that way they can receive the best genes possible. And the fact that that behaviour is so predominant in women proves its effectiveness. If it was counterproductive, then less selective women would have triumphed in the sexual marketplace, and thus that would be the norm, but it's not like that.

Society can change genes. We've been doing it for thousands of years with agriculture, domestication, extermination amd sexual selection. In modern times we can edit genes directly. It can't change them. It only can select which of them keep reproducing. Besides I'm talking about humans, not plants or animals. If you aren't talking about the nazi society, no, society affecting genes doesn't really happen (it would take millions of years of a stable environment for us to "evolve" into it, and I d…

You gotta understand where they come from. Many come with no self-esteem or confidence, and just want to feel better about themselves, not by rolling in their own misery like incels, but by really becoming better. It may seem like they chase sex and status, but those are just byproducts of self improvement. And to do that they need basic stuff, stuff that works most of the time, a solid basis to grasp onto. In visual terms, for the western demographic, yes, and don't listen to anyone who claims otherwise. The why's are simple. Most people don't want a solution to their problem (especially if they think it's unsolvable), they want to vent and to feel better about themselves, so they get into their preferred circlejerk community that reinforces their prior beliefs. You vastly overestimate people's self awareness and willingness to change. To some, admitting they're wrong in something can mean a very big blow for their already low self esteem and stability, so, curiously, the lesser evil for them is…

Men's physical appearance matters less in the dating game than women's. Some women see metrosexual men as unattractive, while self care is seen as universally attractive in women. We are different, don't get caught in those comparisons

The redpill/bluepill dynamic is not really focused on being/not being a douche, but more like different viewpoints of sexual strategy for both men and women. The red pill says men have to do an effort to increase their value in the "dating market" and learn "game" if they want to get laid. The blue pill believes men, just as women, have intrinsic value, and that it's a question of time/exposure to get a partner, without really needing to do major efforts. Okay I'll follow your analogy. Fat person A is not only saying that fat person B is fat (truth). Of course. There's the whole fangirl phenomenon. It's more concentrated but on less men

I'm gonna act like that wasn't already the standard. Then we'd let the market readjust. Men want women but women also want men. So some of them would give in, and those would get the relationship. So then it's a matter of what do you prefer. Same goes for men. That's the beauty of the law of offer and demand. You don't have to try to impose an equilibrium (and can't) because the dating market already regulates itself.

It's not homophobic. It just talks about heterosexual men and women and the relationship between them in a sexual and social context. When the red pill talks about men and women, it is obvious that it doesn't talk about queer people. TRP is indifferent, and that doesn't make it phobic.

I thought TRP was better than this. Seeing that a fucking EC posted that... Kinda depressing, but I think I'll stick to the sidebar.

I agree on the risky behavior thing. The rest is, mostly, your opinion. Yes, I've found some women more attractive because of a well done tattoo. I get that it's not your thing and to a degree I understand why, but "it's disgusting" and "Don't give them sex because I don't like them" (because that's basically your penultimate point)... That's you trying to force your opinion/taste like it was a factual truth. It reads like a religious text, in fact it's borderline moralizing. That's not what TRP…

My ab's visibility depends very little on training. 90% is just having low body fat. So yeah, do a lot of cardio.

I'm thinking about going monk mode university version. Just focusing on getting good grades so I get the opportunities to travel (that depend on grades) and training 10 hrs a week in my college volleyball team (they include a strength program). It looks like what I should be doing, but I'm scared to let go socially and not developing a solid group of friends.

I'm the same as you. Only solution I found is to power through it and rationalize. Hasn't got easier, or more comfortable. Yet.

Guys reach their peak much later. Now get that mental help and do rule number 1: start lifting. See how you evolve from there. You can do amazing things, don't forget it.

Quads all the time. Big calves feel unnatural and are unnecessary (That articulation only needs to bounce, so the tendons do most of the work). Look at Lebron Jame's or Usain Bolt's calves. That is the norm for TOP ATHLETES. Big quads are not only aesthetic but really functional.

This doesn't make sense. Sex is only rewarding if you have sexual desire in the first place. Get out of here and use your gift to focus on a better purpose than every other degenerate on Earth.

I still pity women. Somewhere on the back of their heads there's a clock ticking, telling them their worth is not under their control, but under time's inescapable frame. I still feel VERY fortunate to be a man.

Sometimes I forget how harsh this world is, especially when things are slowly getting better for me. But that's only because I've taken the right steps and I've gathered useful knowledge. Then I read about people like Aaronson. Humbel, talented and pure, yet suicidal and objected to the most extreme cruelty for a reason he can't even understand. Then I remember we're not made to search enlightenment and justice. We're fucked up animals that most of the time only look at our interest. Our "empath…

Acting like it's not bothering you is not helpful, you just give him an easy target to ego boost himself. The "act morally superior and laugh it off" answers are fucking autistic. Do you really want him to stop? Start talking about that it private with members of the group you have confidence with. You said he does this to everyone, then chances are it's not only you who is pissed. Once you've found an ally or two, you're in a good position of social power (yeah it's that easy). Next time he say…

Don't be mad but I don't believe that first sentence. I know you are an EC, but I don't have any real way of checking if you guys are for real or just pretending/exaggerating. However, I can get behind your second sentence. I think I may be overestimating the risk here.

First of all thanks a lot for the encouragement. My greatest fear in this situation is that I may be miss-interpreting the data (because of my lack of experience) and that I'm exaggerating the situation in my head. But I'm redpilled enough to know there is something wrong there. Anyway if shit happens I'll post to let u guys know. Thanks again.

Because, maybe I'm still bluepilled or something, but I still feel like maybe random girls in the street that got stuff to do and don't even know me are very probably not interested in anything to do at all with me. Cold approaching has always come to me as creepy and artificial, but that's just me. Yes that's my issue, that's why I'm asking for help and advice :)

Hahah sorry if I'm the noob stereotype, and thanks for the advice. The thing is, as I despise clubbing (don't like to dance, don't like big crowds, don't like ear ripping loud music), I don't have any source of "hot bitches". So I'm scared of being trapped in this academic bubble for years and loose the little game I had w girls. You see I always thought of the American college I saw in movies where you live near tons of hot girls in campus and do parties and crazy shit. Europe is different. I l…
