You sound scared.

Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about. Use scholar.google.com and look for scientific evidence that what I advised WORKS. Your ignorance is dangerous.

You obviously don't read too well, do you? I clearly said not to jump to the drugs. Read it again and next time pay attention before talking shit.

Definitely fight the anxiety, but pushing through is only one attack vector; there are at least two more you should use in tandem. First, see a psychologist regularly. Cognitive behavioral therapy helps some people quite a bit. Secondly, with your psychologist's advice, see a psychiatrist for assessment. There are medications to help with generalized anxiety and I am personal living proof that they WORK. But it's gotta be the right stuff. FOR. YOU. Don't go straight to the drugs, try making prog…

That is a sign of healthy culture, whereas your concern is a sign of an unhealthy culture. I respectfully disagree that concern over praise of a war-like culture is unhealthy. Human history proves beyond any doubt that through peace and fair commerce we thrive. War, by contrast, results in boys without fathers to teach them the ways of manhood because men are treated as expendable and cannon fodder and have been for tens of thousands of years. Your point about being willing to fight for what you…

...or you can get it. As long as you draw breath, you can work to turn things around. It's hard as hell and let's be honest: the mathematical probability of a person truly going from zero to hero is very, very low. It's so rare because it is so, so goddamn hard. But it CAN be done.

Instead of frame control, I see this as having very high SMV. Because if your SMV is wicked high, who cares if some dumb cunt doesn't call you back - you've got a fucking pool of them to choose from. Now having a big dick can help with SMV but outward appearance helps more because even small dick betas (in mind, personality, and capabilities) have high SMV. A woman gets more status among other women by being with a male who has a great body, muscle definition, good teeth, expensive clothes, etc.

No, fuck stupidity. Some people need medical help, period. This is a demon durable and proven fact of human neurology.

Fantastic post bro. Thank you for this. I want to go into some medical facts about anxiety to help some bros out there. When this post mentions that the more you take social risks and come out unharmed your confidence improves, that's correct for most people but not all of us. Some of us cannot rationally, normally build our confidence this way. In fact, to some of us, the more we take these risks and come out unscathed, the WORSE our confidence gets. This is an example of a person with a real p…

I know how to work on this, I'm just curious if anyone knows that it's actually a PROBLEM and if so, looking for specifics on how it's interpreted.

It's as if we've created a society that unjustly over-empowers the victim so much that non-victims try to masquerade as legitimate victims to elevate their own sense of self worth and personal political power. Ohhh wait... 😀

Way to go buddy! I mean, hell, I'm from Texas where ice skates are a theoretical concept at best; even if I were Canadian, or anyone of basic common sense and honor, I'd submit to an expert's understanding so I could benefit from it. In other words, if this asshat knew better, why the FUCK would he even bring you his skates? "Dude," I'd tell him, "If you think you know better, do it yourself. Here's the <INSERTTOOLNAMEHERE>. Have at it , hoss." tl;dr - Glad this came out well for you! :-)

There is so much truth in this statement. And it goes beyond mating too: finances, politics, friendships, health, family and so on. NONE of these are fair, and as you said, the sooner we accept that simple truth, the sooner we can adjust strategy and start flipping the script.

The boys are scared of you - they can’t compete with raw progress. The girls are jealous and petty, thus tearing you down. None of these children are worth your time; cut them off. Find MEN and WOMEN with whom to associate, as the others you mentioned need to grow up.

Even if you can’t get to a squat rack in a real gym, push-ups are an option. With good strict form you’ve got a plank, bench press and some weird back thing (trust me your lats will burn if done right) all in one. Bonus: dive bomb push-ups.

Attractive, high status women (Katz is cute, and a D1 level tennis player) are now standing up for men in the social arena, but only because we were willing to stand for ourselves. I've noticed this happening more often lately, too. Every single time I've seen a woman stand up for MEN's rights, she's always been far more attractive than the norm. This makes me wonder: could at least some of this phylogeny attacking modern society stem from women of lower attractiveness reacting out of pain becau…

This brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for writing this, /u/LastRevision. My father died earlier this year after a short and excuriating battle with Glioblastoma Multiforme - highly aggressive, 90% lethal brain cancer. I'm now living with my mother because she's developed terminal breast cancer, being diagnosed only 2 weeks before my father's death in a hospice facility. We've lately been very critical of my dad's failings, which were many, because if he'd done things differently, she …

Word of caution: be sure you aren't a victim of a circadian rhythm disorder before doing this. They are quite real and often genetic; see your doctor or a sleep specialist for details.

Oh, I see, you're one of those "the technique is too deadly to use" types, back to the McDojo you go. You sound pretty sensitive. Is it your time of the month? Honestly, at least pay the fuck attention. I never said anything that you're implying here. KM doesn't often (if ever, it varies although not by much in most cases) spar because the techniques can absolutely put some one in the ER. Since you're obviously an ignorant fuckbag, I'll even detail a technique to give you an example. In other wo…

It's extremely naive to make such a guarantee. Wrong. It's a guarantee based on logic, psychology and personal experience. I've personally done this on more than one occasion and never has the proverbial douchebag had the balls to back up his bullshit. And on the off chance he's just plain stupid? That's why I suggest learning a true combat grade martial art. (Hint: if you progress through a system involving points, tournaments or point sparring, you're training for failure, I'm sorry to say.) Y…

That's the problem with the Krav Maga shit. People feel way to over-confident with it. Until they are confronted with a real situation and find out that that shit does not work for two cents, if you are against an uncooperative opponent. orly? Two words: prove it. Are you really trying to sell me that snake oil, that learning to apply technique under the pressure of sparring is less good than playing fighting with a partner who does exactly what you want him to? No, because after training for ov…

Krav Maga isn't often if ever really used in sparring because it's incredibly brutal. It's not bullshit. Sparring by definition means you're not using all your techniques, you're not applying full force, and you're not trying to seriously harm - or even kill - your sparing partner. All KM techniques are rooted in the idea that you must apply as much force as necessary to achieve safety. If that means you need to break bones, you break bones. That doesn't happen in sparring. That said, I fully ag…

This is normal, so don't doubt yourself or worry about it. You recognized danger from some one trying (and failing) to act like a predator. He took intentional first-strike offensive action against you. Evolution has taught us that if somebody starts something with you, it's for a reason, which means that unless you ready yourself to deal with the threat, YOU WILL DIE. Your brain was simply seeing obvious danger, and you also got angry (and rightly so). Intentional offensive action plus anger ve…

(Pseudo-joke) Any cameras in there? No? Next time bring a real combat knife. Don't wave it around or anything, just let the douche catch a glimpse of it. He's chickenshit by definition so I guarantee he'll shut the fuck up rather quick. More realistically, treat him like a little kid. You can just cock your head to the side a bit, squint and be like, "dude, really?" Refuse to engage further no matter what he says next. Finally, learn a real combat martial art like Krav Maga and/or Brazilian jiu-…

Total bullshit. Staring people down works when they instigate social (non-physical/not a fight) conflict because they're already in a state of fear, stress and/or anxiety to begin with; there's simply no other reason they'd start shit in the first place. Try it next time some one tries to talk shit and I guarantee they'll back down. Provided you don't wuss out first.

I'm not a lawyer here, but I would suggest exploring the idea of putting certain assets - both before the marriage and during it - in the ownership of a separate legal entity that you - and you alone - own. For example, form an LLC if possible (again, get advice from a real lawyer here!) and perhaps you can fall back on the SCOTUS "Citizens United" decision (the whole "corporations are people" thing that's obviously quite controversial), using it to actually do some good. You can't take assets a…

Your hate is neither needed nor warranted. Out of all that I wrote, that's what you focus on? Really? I can only see one of two possibilities for this: You're either truly ignorant about what military life is like and the historical implications of thanking soldiers for their all-volunteer service that spans many years of their life, or; You intended to be an asshole. In case it's the former, let me explain a few things. I do this hoping that you're simply unaware of the history and the truly ch…

I was going to suggest something sort of like this too - taking out the sound card from the computer itself. However most motherboards integrate them these days so it might be easier (depending on the computer of course) to sabotage the speakers themselves. Assuming it's the sound that's the problem, not the light from the monitor of course. OP, you could - if you can do so without getting caught of course - take a screwdriver of appropriate size to the speakers and remove some internal part tha…

Is the problem more the light from the monitor, or the sound? If it's the former, a quick fix could be just using a nightmask. You can buy one on Amazon reasonably cheap; just tell dude he owes you the money back for buying one (at a reasonable price, nothing gold-embroidered here haha). If it's the sound/noise, see if he would be willing to stick to using a headset, especially if it's a nice, comfortable one. Then maybe offer to pick up part of his bills for a month or something to let him buy …

+1 on the shallow bit; this is something I have to frequently remind myself! You're so right about this. A lot of us have been taught our whole lives to put women on on a pedestal, and to practically worship the hot ones, all in the name of "equal rights" (what's so equal about how it's turned out though? pfft...). It makes it all the more necessary to realize, in your own head, that they're just as shallow and malicious as a gender as us guys are. Maybe even moreso in some cases. Anyway, I can'…

My take on this would be that she's just plain fucked up in some way. Consider an experiment: you look at the nice pretty blue sky with your own two eyes as God/FSM intended. It's blue. Now you put on some yellow sunglasses (or contacts or drop yellow food coloring in your eye, whatever). Now it looks green. Is the sky any less blue? No. Your own perception was simply altered. I suspect the same is what's up with this chick. She can perceive the other guy as a "better" male, but that definitely …
