To play devil's advocate at least she's trying to understand and improve herself, more than could be said for a lot of women.

I went through one of these relationships and you're absolutely correct. If I find a quality girl who's actually into me and treats me well I get bored and the relationship dies. Do you have any advice for dealing with this or am I just fucked at this point? The toxic relationship was years ago and it's still messing up my life.

I want to thank you as well, the reality of this is hitting me rather hard at the moment and I don't really know what to say except that I've enjoyed your contributions to this community and learned a lot from you and everyone else here. Damn, I can't remember the last time I felt so sad and angry all at once. I'm really going to miss this place.

To be fair there's something to be said for living in the moment, it just helps to have your moments mapped out.

This is a massive part of it, when I practice semen retention it's like I'm a completely different person. Honestly need to start doing it again

It's an addiction man, some of us are drawn to it even though we know it's poison. They spike your adrenaline in a way that your body literally gets physically addicted to. I try my best to stay away from it now but when I meet a girl like that I'm both drawn and repelled at the same time, it's a strange feeling.

Yeah a nasty side effect of Tinder is literally every 6-7 thinks she's a 9-10, it's becoming impossible to find any women who are not borderline delusional with their expectations. Fucking Disney movies all programmed this into them too, sucks we all grew up watching that bullshit propoganda

Holy shit that was painful to read.. poor guy, honestly wtf is the world coming to, things are so blatantly fucked up. Ugh maybe I'm just a little buzzed tonight but this one triggered me a bit.

You're completely missing the point, PTSD is a physiological reaction, it's not a mindset you can change by internalizing some thought.

Yeah, if I don't fuck after a first "date" (read: drinks), I view it as a failure and move on. I'd have to reaallyy like a girl to bother with a day 2, and if that fails I'm over it.

It gets better man, I know how hard it is but keep going. I never thought I'd make it through but here I am 6 months later feeling mostly like my old self again. It was the darkest time in my life and I've repressed a lot of it, but it really does get much easier in time. Best of luck to you and everyone else recovering from this type of relationship.. If you're in one; muster your strength, end it as soon as you possibly can and never look back.

I literally considered killing myself after a relationship with a narc.. Only those who've been through that nightmare truly get it. Never. Fucking. Again.

With an attitude like that, you're on the right track.

In regard to #2, yes looks do matter but they are not the be-all end-all of female attraction. I'm average looking (at best), but I have been with and attracted extremely beautiful women in my life. Women correspond to your SELF image more than anything, if YOU think you're the shit, you're comfortable and confident in your own skin, then they will pick up on that via the law of state transference and they will believe it as well. Women pick up on energy and confidence more than anything. If you…

Thats.. not really how it works. 400 in a row is pretty terrible, maybe you should try changing up your game?

True.. Except every time you fuck up it leaves a permanent subconscious mark on your record which pretty much never goes away. Break frame too much and you're done, son.

That's a great analogy, having been through this type of nightmare myself. It's been 6 months now and I'm just starting to feel slightly like my old self again.

I wish to god I had done this. If you don't know the signs it's easy to get sucked in, there's something in the way they spike your adrenaline that's almost physically addicting. After the giant shitshow that was my last "relationship" ran it's course and exploded into a fiery trainwreck, I was literally suicidal for about 4 months, I lost 20+ lbs in the course of a month and my fucking hair even started falling out. Nobody should have to go through such an abusive mindfuck, these people are the…

I really relate to and sympathize with you from these threads man.. My LTR of 6 years broke up me and got with a close friend of ours literally the next day (I'm sure they were hooking up beforehand) a few years ago. Nothing compares to that feeling of betrayal, I made the same resolution to regret nothing and I often tell myself that if it never happened, I'd still be living in a depressed BP nightmare. Thanks for sharing, and by the way I agree with everyone about your writing skills, you shou…

Truth, this happened to me in my college yoga class. Girl was super fine and "liked my Doors sweatshirt". Too bad I was in the typical shitty LTR at the time. Might be time to sign up for another yoga class come to think of it.

Yeah, this sums it up perfectly. The exact same thing happened to me a couple years ago (as I'm sure it's happened to countless others). I kind of wish I had known then what I know now.. Then again, I suppose some lessons are best internalized the hard way.

^ Seriously, this. Banging random strangers is basically the whole point of Tinder, you should find it refreshing that this girl gets that and is upfront about her intentions. A lot of girls on there want you to go out of your way to seduce them, this one is giving you the green light. I say go for it, and try not to live your life with so much fear!
