Recall the original discussion was on their feelings, so I'm not sure why you keep going back to stayed as a presence in your life. You aren't arguing against the topic at hand which is what they felt Also overall more positive than negative isn't a strong indicator. The fact that you have had bad experience shows a gap. You are opting to look at the good experiences and ignore the bad because the bad ones go against your argument.

Brene brown proves it. I am vulnerable a lot, actually vulnerability is the root of leadership. You need to put your thoughts out there for everyone to hear without knowing what the consequences are. Leadership is attractive, and leadership is rooted in vulnerability. Vulnerability from weakness is not attractive, and if you can't see that now I implore you to test it out. Women don't care about men's weak problems. Give it a shot, or don't You are trying to apply all vulnerability to disgust wh…

You are right I am wrong you did share. I was referring to the dms you said you would send but then we ended up talking more generally. So I misspoke. Is that all you wanted to say about my comment?

I never said I don't show vulnerability. In fact vulnerability is a huge part of my life. In fact I've been very vulnerable in this convo. I told you my experience and you didn't share yours. I lead with vulnerability. You are putting words in my mouth and should revisit your assumptions. I never even talked about stoicism, and stoicism isn't about not being vulnerable

Nothing will, you are wasting your time because I trust the hundreds of peer reviewed studies I have personally read on this topic, as well as other red pill topics, for instance the necessities and luxuries model by Norman li. In the case of vulnerability I've only read her books, but you can ask google if her work is peer reviewed. Since you aren't red pilled you don't understand and until you are we will argue until the end of time. So my only goal is to get you to recognize that until you go…

So you value text messages with women over a highly published, recognized author. Go into the psychology research and find support for your claims. A woman in your life for decades will never tell you to man up pussy your being a little baby girl because women operate from the perspective of being fearful. She would be scared that she would lose you, because if you have a lot of text messages as you say she would be losing emotional support and women care about maintaining social connections wit…

Your have no data that is wrong. Your experience is anecdotal so also wrong. You can't come to your conclusions either then by your own logic

Your experience is warped by your perception. Since you don't perceive this two faced nature you don't understand. There are plenty of social science studies on traits between genders such as agreeableness and neuroticism. Again, km not going to find them for you. It's up to you if you want to wake up or not

Recall that the argument was never how women react, it was what women feel. You are applying the actions of women to what's actually going on in their heads, and that's wrong. Remember what women say isn't what they really mean. They can feel one thing and do another. This comes down to higher levels of agreeableness in their personality matrix. Some women are really high in neuroticism and lack the skills to deal with the emotions invoked and respond in less than ideal ways. So just because it'…

How do you know? Try it here in Reddit in women's spaces. I was vulnerable with that woman in that link I sent you. She blamed me. Test it out yourself and come to your own conclusions. Why? Women are entitled and the current zeitgeist is men are the problem. Women have gaslight our population and this gives them control. Women are very socially aware and very socially skilled. They know all the tricks and men are their playthings. When you learn all the ways women manipulate men, you start seei…

Not quite. They both feel the same thing. One woman processes the emotional state well and responds positively and the other does not
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 07:42 PM
1

No, not correct. The biology is the same between the two. One woman is more secure, and can understand that you have needs too, and it's okay for you to be insecure. The insecure woman is codependent and can't get past the uncomfortable feeling and places the blame on you, hence the anger, disgust, etc.

When men are emotional, the parts of the brain responsible for motherhood activate and the parts responsible for arousal deactivate. It's a stress response. So if you are being vulnerable and weak it causes discomfort and it takes a strong woman to work past it and give you the energy you need from her in the moment

Dms are fine. I recognize you have life experiences here, these may also be conflated with experiences with older school feminine women who operate on the fundamentals of empathy, child raising, emotional safety, are secure themselves, and are willing to be a mother for a man because they do not have such a poor view of men as a whole. These women are incredibly rare these days so I want you to also put your experience into that context. If you are indeed a grandpa they simply don't make them li…

Do you know the concept of matching energy? These women give you energy and you give them back. Your age plays a big part in this. Younger women are less invested in giving men energy because of their misandry. These women are matching your energy but that doesn't mean you are invalidating brene browns work because they are still in your life. See what you don't get is that you are trying to say I don't have proof, but I referenced an expert directly You are ignoring the fact that you are placing your view above hers. Where is the proof for your view, why do I have to provide proof and you do not? You are claiming that vulnerability does not do this but an expert disagrees. Where is the proof about your claim

It's not a claim though and I am quoting her. She is coming from her research and you are saying no to her. Then trying to attribute her words to my words and saying no to me. This is a logically fallacy. I did not say true to what you think I did, re read it

You are mistaking vulnerability that results in connection with vulnerability that results in these negative feelings. You are right that vulnerability is a way to connect. Being open with someone about things in your life creates trust, because sharing things about yourself puts you are risk and doing this openly projects that you trust that person. It's a way to "manipulate" another person to trust you in the negative context or create connection in the positive context. Being vulnerable does …

Here’s the painful pattern that emerged from my research with men: We ask them to be vulnerable, we beg them to let us in, and we plead with them to tell us when they’re afraid, but the truth is that most women can’t stomach it. In those moments when real vulnerability happens in men, most of us recoil with fear and that fear manifests as everything from disappointment to disgust. And men are very smart. They know the risks, and they see the look in our eyes when we’re thinking, C’mon! Pull it t…

Keep in mind that the men who are "blaming their issues in women" haven't been red pilled, they are still learning. The red pill is an optimistic view. Everything is in your control. Also you mistake their intentions with bringing up red pill things. A struggling man who reads about things like hypergamy via social science research would be upset, because this lifts the veil of what we are taught. So these men are coming here upset, unsuccessful, and they project that into how they speak. These …

/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 02:57 PM

It's actually inauthentic support, authentic support would be being vulnerable and saying what's hard, in a supportive way
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 02:53 PM

This is due to agreeableness! It's incredibly inauthentic. Unfortunately our society really perpetuates this because saying the right thing is seen as wrong if it makes someone feel bad

You don't need to believe me? You can choose to believe whatever you want? In psychology this is called projection. You are protecting your desire for me to believe you, because admitting that I may be right is hurtful to you. Keep stomping those feet

Men are like islands and women are like boats. Why would a woman stay at your shitty island when they can navigate to an island in view with all the amenities. As a man you are responsible for building the island women would like to stay at. This is one reason why social media and OLD has completely turned how people mate on its head. It has made what an island could be known, and given the false confidence that a woman can get there. For instance my step sister was a FHM and playboy model, she …

I agree with the energy vs effort argument, however, women want to be shown unconditional love because they have a biological imperative to ensure a father stays. Women become very vulnerable in child birth, using a lot of energy (food), being less mobile, risk of death, so will often test their men to quench their insecurity about being left vulnerable. So they need to blow up or be difficult during the mate selection process to test their man, to make sure that their man is the man the same ca…

The level men go to, to support women they do not know, is absolutely unreal. They put women on such a high pedestal because they cannot get one and then think that women can do no wrong. There is a book popular in feminist spaces which talks about the different types of love, and this goes into some of the poly ideas, many partners, sexual revolution stuff. It talks about types of men whom are ok giving resources for nothing but basic interactions. I had a female friend with an entire basement …

No I just stick to what science says. Look at what is objective, as really what the data measures is the true red pill. There is a whole lot of "taboo" research that is truthful and factual that people here deny. They're still stuck on "that's not okay to say because it's mysogynistic". /r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 08:33 PM

It's not so far off base. It's actually all rooted in psychology research and studies into our biology, historical references, etc. The error happens when people attribute wrong things people say under the guise of "red pill" to discount the right things that are actually red pill

It is inherently red pill. The three original pillars are looks, status, and game. I recognize that you have a good life and a life you are proud of and enjoy. I just think you can do all of those things and have a partner. The reason I am making a stink about this is because I want you to see that you could have both, but seeing it that way would acknowledge that you would have to go the hard route to do so. Women make the mistake of thinking because they are dating a man that they are good enough for. But the thing is that women choose first, and then men choose to stick around. This frustrates a lot of women because they find out they are not good enough after dating for a little while.

It's not wrong to raise your partner up, that's terrible blue pill advice. It's ideal if both parties grow together I am saying that women would be better off and have less problems with getting pumped and dumped if they chose better mates. Unfortunately they choose to select from a pool of men which have a lot of men who are there to pump and dump women. So I suggest that women change their strategy because we live in a society and the behaviors shitty attractive men are not in their control

I agree that in a perfect world we wouldn't have bad people and bad men. It's still the man's fault. But we live in a society where this is a reality, you are approaching this from a perfect world point of view and from that frame you are right the men are the problem. But as women you know there are men like this, so you also have a responsibility to ensure the mates you choose are good mates.

Just because men aren't latching on to womens issues doesn't make it okay for women to not support men with men's issues. Two wrongs do not make a right. Both need to step up Goodbye then 👋

Watch wheat waffles video on the pill types. Evolutionary psychology is some of the scientific basis for red pill ideas. The red pill is just a collection of knowledge about people, our society, and the connections between them. Anything that is disproved is no longer red pill

Please watch wheat waffles video on the pill types There is a lot of misinformed people who conflate toxic masculinity with the red pill. What does the toxic shit have anything to do with opening your eyes to how the world is as the analogy presents itself via the matrix? You are actually using the appeal to the masses fallacy. You think I am wrong because a lot of people here have a different idea of the red pill, but in fact all of those people can be wrong and I can be right 👍
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 08:48 PM

Agreed, there are bad people everywhere. This is why it's up to the woman to vet the men she allows into her life. She is a victim and should be supported if she gets hurt, but she is also responsible for ensuring her own safety. Because we know bad men exist it's not okay for her to walk straight into heart break and then cry wolf.

Appeal to common sense fallacy. Google Venn diagram It can both be common sense and be red pill. The red pill teaches a lot of common sense. It's not about ownership, the ideas can be common to both
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 08:44 PM

You mean followed the red pill and the red pill worked right? Do not make the mistake of appealing to common sense fallacy. It can be common sense but also be red pill.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 08:43 PM

He says red pill things that are not wrong, and for instance his training videos can be very helpful for a lost man trying to navigate being desirable. Just because he does those other things, says messed up things, does not make the truthful and helpful redpill things wrong. This is a fallacy used to dismiss red pill ideas on the basis that an individual says unrelated wrong things.

Exactly. Grandma told you not to trust a player's intentions. She wasn't wrong. I agree it's wrong at a glance for women to think of attractive men as their predators, but they are. I think women would have a much better time if they stopped dating fuckboys and found a man who didn't value those traits and raised him up. Got him into the gym and built him into a man she wanted.

No it is not victim blaming. First off, it's complicated. You have a set of attractive men that became attractive to attract women. Unfortunately all women are going for these men because, well, they're hot. So innately women are dating their own predators and ignoring all the men who are not looks maxing for the goal to attract women. Then because women think they can get these men, this sets the standard for all future partners - hence alpha windowing. The men who are avoidant, fear of commitm…

The red pill is actually all about accountability! Your appearance is in your control, your game is in your control, your status is in your control. It's a self improvement movement. The black pill is what you are referencing. Where your genetics determine your attractiveness and you cannot change that.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 07:28 PM

You don't need to be formally educated in what the pills are to follow them. The red pill for instance just describes the society and the people in it. You can learn that by just navigating the world and being perceptive. We've just coined a term red pill to describe lifting the veil to the nuances in human behavior. The term really doesn't matter - as the red pill is just the collection of knowledge of our world
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 07:27 PM

Agreed, but women choose first. Women are going for these lying men because they are hot. They are responsible for vetting the men they let into their life. Grandma taught women to protect themselves - and they aren't listening and getting hurt.

Everyone needs to have time for it because men's issues affect everyone. This will have catastrophic affects on our society. It's weak minded for you to say "not my problem 🙉🙈". We need people with the courage to do something. Ultimately the victims will be all the men and women to come in the future and then we will be just like boomers who raised the ladder up behind them.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 07:24 PM

Someone who follows all red pill pillars is red pilled whether they were red pilled through men's spaces or through life experience. The red pill describes the rules of the world we live in, it lifts the veil of our society. You are wrong in this case. It is completely reasonable for a man to red pilled through life experience, they just learned how the world works on their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 07:22 PM
2

Oh, I was against shallowness and shallow people because that was not one of my values. So when people in my life prioritized shallow ambitions I disliked them for it. I learned that people are just shallow though, and that's just how the world works. So back then I resented them for pursuing say fitness, but later understood that they had just come to the conclusion that it mattered too much to ignore.

I agree wholeheartedly. There's a great book called "of boys and men", and I'd recommend you check it out if you have boys of your own. As men we have to be leaders and be vulnerable. We need to shift society to acknowledge gender differences, and right now that takes a lot of courage because of the current equality zeitgeist
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 07:07 PM
2

You would think that, but it's not. It's more complicated You are taking the angle that the man is hurting the woman, and from a bird's eye view it appears mean. But when you say it with a smirk and a smile, "oh you dummy, you forgot to X", it's actually endearing and creates emotional bonds.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 07:05 PM
2

Or it's fun, flirty, and not unlike what your favorite brother would do when he licks his finger and puts it in your ear, steals your food, calls you dummy, holds you accountable for your shit or when the child sitting behind your desk kicks your seat/spits a spitball. I agree that the idea of men knowing how to utilize this is weird, but also it's just normal behaviors that most men do anyway. We're just acknowledging that it has roots in attraction too
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 07:00 PM

Indeed, how men are raised plays a huge part. The male loneliness epidemic will only further separate men as they never get the opportunity to learn how to communicate with women. It's really tragic because both men and women will suffer. At the root of it is the idea that men and women are the same. But we aren't, and this is an unfortunate side effect of feminism. We cannot acknowledge we are different because to do would be mysogynistic (which is a logical fallacy - confusing a generalization…

Negging would be part of the 'game' pillar of red pill. You are kinda taking a PUA tactic and applying it to the red pill. I will give you the red pill reason why negging is effective from psychology research: This comes down to brother sister and father daughter dynamics. Brothers would tease their sisters in childhood, or male friends would do the same. It's a form of bonding. It's also an indirect display of value "look at me I can offend you see how better I am". So men who neg women invoke …

I'm not talking about the men who settle down, these aren't the men hurting women. I am talking about the large volume of mid twenties to forty men who are avoidant, afraid of commitment, but hot and in their prime that women willingly throw themselves at and then get hurt. Contrary to what you think about me, I am one of those men who picked one good one and got out. Always treated ladies like ladies. Successful man, good career or success in business. Able to provide, care, has a nice island. This aligns with status based red pill (pillar 2 - your status is in your control. Okay but that doesn't change how many people are red pilled. Most blue pilled women I talk to end up just telling me they are red pilled through their views on appearance, and descriptions of the man they are dating/married to.

There is no insult but only the truth. You are unwilling to be a leader and raise both men and women up, it's a fact. And that's because doing nothing is easier than doing something hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 06:23 PM

No it's not. The red pill is an optimistic view about self improvement. People have warped and twisted the red pill to fit whatever narrative they are trying to push. There is nothing wrong with the three core pillars of the red pill. Your looks are in your control, your status Is in your control, and your game is in your control.

Agreed - it's really difficult and challenging to navigate. I'm not saying it's easy for women but women choose first. A man makes an advance and the woman says yes or no. Women are responsible for vetting the men they keep in their company - and the sad thing is some men are really good at hiding. So these women get hurt. I'm not trying to say that it's all womens fault, but women cannot take zero accountability because ultimately they choose who they sleep with barring any forced sexual assaul…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 06:20 PM

My point is that ladies give themselves willingly to attractive men, then get upset when the attractive man leaves. They need to take accountability for being so easy, and they need to recognize that they are competing against all other women who are also doing the same. A man who has infinite access to sex has no reason to settle down, and a man like this has no reason to accept anything but the best woman. So because women do not follow the rules that their grandmother's told them, they give m…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 06:17 PM

No but concepts they didn't create can still be red pill even if they are common sense. The red pill is just a collection of ideas that represent human behavior - you don't get to selectively remove what's red pill because it's also common sense. Have you seen a venn diagram before or understand set theory in mathematics?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 06:13 PM

Actually women are more like "men don't need help that's mysogynistic", and they bring men down. You are part of a society and although you can choose to opt out of improving it, that's also weak minded. You just don't have the courage to do what's right.

Your argument relies on the "appeal to common sense" fallacy. This assumes that something is true or valid simply because it aligns with what you consider obvious or intuitive. However, common sense is subjective, often shaped by personal biases or limited understanding, and cannot replace evidence or deeper analysis. Dismissing an idea this way avoids engaging with its complexity and weakens the discussion.

My self esteem did take a hit, but I was wildly successful in all other areas of my life. By thirty I was working in AI cancer detection research at a big well known FAANG company. I also had in my earlier years been the center of attention. Was the first boy to kiss a girl, and was a very competitive sports player. Both sides are victims. I am not blaming the victims. You glossed over the fact that stronger and better men is good for women. /r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 05:45 PM

This is actually rooted gendered communication. You are right is a consequence of male dominated spaces Psychologists for instance took ten young women who had not been around boys and put them in a room. They took ten young boys who hadn't been around girls and did the same. They found that the girls would utilize indirect communication, and the boys would utilize direct communication. You can agree to disagree, but as a 30 something male almost every man I know is red pilled. The men you are sleeping with are red pilled. They follow the red pill to a T. So imagine what it would be like for men here who see this happening, who are repeatedly gaslight and told that the red pill is wrong. When they see every single day that their red pill friends are attracting women and they have to choose to accept the reality we live in (red pill) or become bitter and resentful (black pill).

Because of the hypergamy associative mating cycle. Women seek partners that satisfy their hypergamy, and when they cannot satisfy hypergamy they settle for equals but not less than. Women's success as a whole raises the bar for all men. I wouldn't say it's ideal for our society to lower women, but it's objectively true that men being more successful comparatively would make dating easier.

That's because you are being manipulative and changing the topic to be about the causes of depression. We are not talking about the cause of depression so I let it go. In the future can you please avoid changing the topic and derailing the conversation? We are talking about male loneliness and your lack of empathy

What is there to expand on. Can you elaborate on what is not clear to you?

Wanting love and companionship is very different from wanting the latest tech gadgets, but you know this already. You are just doubling down and being a troll. If you care about male suicide then you should care about male loneliness. I would wager that loneliness and lack of companionship are major contributors to male suicide. But you know this, you are acting ignorant but I am confident you are anything but.

Only damaged and hurt misandrist women are rolling their eyes at the male loneliness topic. I think everyone else can see that it is a big deal for those men and also a big deal for women who are struggling to find valuable mates. Only someone really insecure would equate tangible struggles that affect a large portion of men with first world problems

Ill tell you what I do not define whining as: talking about the struggle one faces. If these struggles weren't real or tangible it would be whining. Only individuals with avoidant attachment styles would think otherwise. I'm sorry you are this way

It's clear to everyone else but you. Think on it

No, being whiny is your insecure, naive, and damaging interpretation of their behaviour. No because when men show weakness women feel disgust because that's how their programming works.

Men here are not whining they are being vulnerable. Brene brown found that when men are vulnerable women respond in a range from disgust to annoyance. You just lack the self awareness to identify this in your behavior

I had three friend groups that I had collected over the years, the only thing I didn't have was a girlfriend. It's because I was 30lb overweight on a large frame. I lost it in three months and got jacked and never had issues getting a date within a few app messages from then on. I think I spent two years without getting a single date invitation getting accepted prior. Stop assuming men just lack social skills. It's ignorant as hell because by doing so you demonstrate you have a lack of social sk…

Isn't telling someone else you have pretty eyes the opposite of shy? That's a pretty vulnerable thing to say...

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
