I am pretty hideous, not to mention fat and old. I've noticed since making the change that women will sit near me in bars (while I'm digging into my relatively pricey appetizers and cocktails) with this sort of mopey/needy demeanor. I just keep watching the game and they eventually wander off. Works for me.
