Hugo Schwyzer is a piece of shit who took advantage of his students repeatedly and tried to kill his girlfriend before lying to the police and hiding it to somehow later claim he stands up for women. Many feminists know that. Your generalization is incredibly ignorant.

Intersectionality. They don't get to that point probably because you don't allow them, or wouldn't understand it anyway if you can't get the basic principle of privilege to begin with. Benevolent sexism (what you refer to as women having it better) is sexism, and that needs to be fixed, too.

Yeah! Once you see that the scholarship is for a minority, you already know how shitty and low the standards are. /s I remember when I applied for minority scholarships. I had to write down how many crimes I committed, which drugs I did, prison time, etc. I was wondering why it didn't ask about community involvement, GPA, extracurriculars, leadership positions, an essay, and other academic traits. I guess it was because it was a minority scholarship, amirite? I wonder what was on the football sc…

Yeah, there have been studies. Plenty of them. And historical and sociological work that has looked into it. But then it runs into people like you, who seem to deny it blindly anyway and cling to their own beliefs. Just think using common sense for a small amount of time--this country has systematically oppressed groups, including women and minorities, legally until a couple decades ago. Your parents, and your grandparents definitely, grew up in a time where hating minorities was perfectly accep…

As the only other comment points out, you found one moron on the internet--not a valid source. Sorry that academia points out your privilege and it makes you uncomfortable. Privilege is an accepted and studied topic that most people here (and other places on reddit) can't seem to understand. There isn't a debate. It exists. It is a problem. You just like your head up your ass, because it's cozy and safe in there. btw, it sounds like the only valid thing he's referring to intersectionality. That'…

lol no, it's a joke. And those aren't even true. Only in the little fantasy world in your head.

Damn, if only we took into consideration facts! Then those last statements might be found to be... true.

This is an issue. And here aren't "special rules" for harassment because there are normal rules. Your mother is completely ignorant of true feminist goals and ideas, and so is reddit. Bad place to ask, especially since it is an ignorant question posted to a bunch of anti-women ignoramuses.

Then the real shame is the people who don't see how this is obviously ridiculous and ask for more advice or thank the OP below.

Not to mention he admits he has never had success with this and only made up scenarios.

It means the leading can't be coercive, either.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
