I'm not justifying misandry. Several of my posts acknowledge the toxicity present in third-wave feminism. "It doesn't matter if you are right" is the response of someone who can't handle that someone they disagree with has a point.

I didn't say some men. I said men, period. As in, a society where all men were forbidden from owning land but women were not. There are plenty of examples of societies forbidding any woman from owning land.

example 1: the impropriety of a law in the name of feminism is a mark against the judicial system of the U.K., not feminism example 2: the duluth model is flawed, the flawed parts are not based on feminist theory. feminist theory contains no apologist doctrine on female violence. once again, you're blaming feminism when the blame lies with an institution's missapplication of feminism. example 3: and there are female rape victims around the world who can be forced to carry the child to term, marr…

How is it untrue? In what way are feminists campaigning for preferential treatment?

feminism hasn't been imposed on anyone. feminism is a response to the mistreatment of women by men. it's the belief that all people, not just men, are created equal, and a recognition of the fact that, historically, men have held power in society and have tended to consolidate that power in a way that disenfranchises women, much the same way imperialism does. feminism is, by definition, a revolutionary response to imperialism, which is why your comparison is so stunningly dumb.

Feminism isn't about who has it harder in the universal scheme of things. It's about the way people treat one another. Turning it in to a competition of who has it harder does nothing to solve the fact that some people treat other people like shit, and when people are treated like shit they tend to group together with others who are treated the same way for similar reasons. Being the ruling class does nothing to grant you claim for improving the world. Most of the revolutionary improvements of t…

Please, if you wanna go back to the beginning it was even worse, before we developed morality and men would overpower and subjugate as a rule. That legacy exists today, which is why it's possible to say things like "a century ago women in the USA couldn't vote". That's a weird, perverted way of interpreting what I said, which is par for the course so far. You are, again, mistaken.

Your reading comprehension is ass. I made 0 comparisons between feminism and masculinity. What I compared was your treatment of feminism with an equally ignorant woman's treatment of masculinity. They don't have to be the same thing for the both of you to completely pervert their meaning.

women have been second-class citizens throughout history. just cuz they get custody of their kids in the 21st century doesn't mean the scales have been tipped feminism is represented by the majority of people on this planet who believe in equality between men and women. if you think women have achieved equality with men in the modern era you are sorely mistaken.

imperialism and feminism are not remotely the same thing that is retarded stop

feminism is based on equality. there are women who pervert the idea of feminism, but that isn't representative of feminism, it's representative of those women that pervert feminism. what your saying is tantamount to a woman blaming masculinity for rape because she was raped by a masculine man

i don't understand your point then. i mentioned myself somewhere in this thread that as far as custody goes, the system is very unfairly lopsided in favor of the mother. but that has absolutely no bearing on any of the things I was talking about.

If you think an anecdotal story from the internet is in any way capable of changing someone's mind, you're approaching this topic from the completely wrong angle.

you will never have the right to have sex without being held responsible for a child born as a result. i hope you get used to it.

I didn't say they had anything to do with one another. I don't know what you even read there. I'm explaining my standards for men and women in regards to this issue; as far as abortions are concerned, it is solely a woman's decision. If she chooses not to have an abortion, then both the man and woman are obligated to provide for that child because it was the man and woman fucking that led to that child being created. There is no such thing as consent to raise a kid. You raise a kid either becaus…

Abortion is a woman's choice because the procedure has nothing to do with the man's body. Both the man and the woman are obligated to provide for the child because it's theirs. Where is the double standard?

There's a reason your point of view isn't taken seriously D: It has a lot to do with how you make the convo about something new with every post. Have you ever tried approaching a conversation without your adversarial slant? Just writing a thoughtful paragraph in response to someone instead of cutting and pasting quote after quote trying to attack whatever crack you perceive? This isn't supposed to be a fight to be correct--it's supposed to be an exchange of ideas that leads to some sort of ultim…

You can't wrap your head around the fact that a woman alone has the right to make choices about her body, and the fact that she has that right does not mean that you are suddenly unequal and need a right that also allows you to walk out on a pregnancy. You are incapable of having this debate without turning it in to a pro-life/pro-choice conversation. You are also unable to refrain from putting words in my mouth, i.e. abstinence-only. If you want to have a discussion about how fucked up the syst…

It's a very nuanced topic. There is a lot at play, but when you boil it down to the grit, you have two facts; a woman's right to choose what she does with her body is inalienable, and if a child is born, the people who are responsible for creating it are now obligated to provide for it in every way. Anything that isn't in line with that has no place in modern society, and that includes any right for a man to walk away when a woman decides to have the child. Far as I can tell, the people who disa…

Your argument is that because only women have the option to get an abortion, men should have the option to walk out on a pregnancy. That's some childish tit-for-tat shit and it completely ignores the fact that, in the event a woman does not get an abortion, there is a child that is left to take care of, one that required a man to help create it, in a process he willingly participated in. Your lil cherry picking bonanza was a waste of time.

you are dogshit retarded. nothing about this changes anything I said. You are incapable of arguing with the meat of my argument, so you're on this petty shit.

it was a conversation about, among other things, abortion. it's obvious to anybody with a brain what I meant. you disagree with what I have to say, so you're cherry picking some bullshit to try to prove a point that has nothing to do with what's being discussed i'ma just hope you manage to not be a complete fuckin idiot sometime in the future. good luck with that.

"a man does not have to carry that child to term (in the event of a pregnancy that is brought to term)" you don't honestly think I thought women couldn't get abortions, do you
/r/MGTOW08/11/17 05:43 AM

You are not entitled to sex, and if you have sex with a woman, there is an inherent risk that a pregnancy will occur. If a pregnancy occurs, the choice of whether or not to have an abortion is 100% in the hands of the woman, because, and I know this is wild, but, it's her body! If you apply what I said to a woman she has the choice to carry the child to term or pursue an abortion. So, no, that is not me telling a woman to keep her legs shut. That's me telling a woman, hey, you got pregnant, now …

You wrote a whole lot of words that blatantly ignore the fact that a man chooses to have sex fully aware of the possible outcomes. It's like you think you have a right to have sex without being responsible for a potential pregnancy. Sorry, that isn't how the world works.

/r/MGTOW08/11/17 03:13 AM

It's not hypocritical at all. A man and woman are both financially responsible for that child, but a man does not have to carry that child to term. You're being pretty dishonest trying to present the experience of pregnancy as the same for a man and a woman. It isn't. That's why women are allowed more rights in regards to pregnancy. It's very simple.
