| 1 | Does height matter?Firstly, note this: https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/average-height-by-year-of-birth If couples matched randomly, there'd be a very high proportion of them where the man is taller than the woman. I once estimated it at about 91% based on the mean and standard deviation of males and females (cannot recall where I found the parameters). Now given that, I would still say that the remaining 9% is unexplained and can probably be attributed to differing preferences for height. | /r/seduction | 11/07/20 09:12 PM |
| 1 | Masculine v. Effeminate menPeople panic buying toilet paper during this time is pretty stupid but still the majority of people did it. They weren't using their higher thinking, they were acting on emotion. One should hope that people think more seriously in dating and romance than they do in a crisis. Crisis necessities fast and rapid responses which may be sub-optimal, but dating doesn't fall into that category so easily. You have to compare like with like. Choosing a partner is more like choosing a job than it is panic … | /r/seduction | 08/04/20 05:49 PM |
| 5 | Masculine v. Effeminate menThis is such a stupidly high risk strategy. If the woman gets caught, she loses all the security. Any empirical backing for these claims? As in the original research papers? Even better, the datasets. So how different would a feminine man's genes be to a female? That's got to be one of the most absurd things I've heard in a while. It relies on a bizarre idea of "genetic distance". | /r/seduction | 08/04/20 02:24 PM |
| 2 | Masculine v. Effeminate menI'm curious too... what's the continuation? | /r/seduction | 08/04/20 12:31 PM |
