0	Women Should Have to Register for the Draft, Congressional Commission Says Right so there are currently women in the US military. They make up about 15%. We don't need to draft because there are volunteers. But if we did why wouldn't we draft to supplement the positions currently held by women? Why do women have a choice while men are theoretically able to be forced? There is nothing about a draft that REQUIRES the government to throw women into combat. Plenty of women are doctors, nurses, engineers, programmers, etc. In the dire event we needed to draft people there is no reason it should only be men. You don't see it because the girls that are going for older guys aren't hanging out with them on campus or bringing them to parties and whatnot.
