We both have diverging opinions and obviously we aren't about to switch sides. Let's just leave it at that.

Call me an hopeless optimist, but I expected to see something better, and I still hope seddit delivers something decent. So far it's been a big dissapointment.

I'm subscribed, but never joined in a discussion or learned anything decent form seddit. Most of the stuff I've seen is either unappealing, disinteresting or downright uncomfortable.

I disagree with the concept and in fact would wager it has as much the exact opposite effect. It turned me off and really does not give me a good impression of people who style themselves as seductors. I don't need acronyms and cryptic terms to get women, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

There seems to be a leap in logic here, going form severe social anxiety to specific dating terms. If anything, having such a hermetic nomenclature only upgrades your social status from "severely socially anxious" to another small group where the only people who understand eachother are the ones inside it. Why not just try to be sociable without all that seduction mumbo jumbo. This is going to be the second time it comes, but I really think people on the subreddit would get better results by rea…

Sidestepping the fact that he sounds like a total twat, flirting and getting into girls pants is not some type of closed door club. Everyone does it, and everyone has been doing since the beginning of time. Why does it need it's own lingo now when people were doing just ifne without it decades ago. Dale Carnegie showed the world how to make friends and influence people without a hint of prententious codification, why does seducing women need dumb shit like f close or uselss acronyms? A hot chick…

The cryptic nomenclature. Dear god, I've never seen some place try to make themselves feel special and professionnal by using so many terms. Frankly, that turned me off.

Stop thinking, start doing. Join a club that will take your out of your comfort zone, whatever it may be; crochet, dancing, martial arts, whatever.

2 things I severely dislike about seddit. 1- The overuse of confusing and unaccesible lingo essentially transforming seduction into an inorganic methodology with shitty buzzwords. 2- The profusion of what pretty much boils down to soft porn stories.

Really? I'd do them both, equally.

Short, nice ass and curly hair. Tan is nice too. Seriously women, why do you always straighten you hair? That shit sucks.

That's one way to look at it. But going from neckbeard to aging engineer isn't that big of an improvement. Keeping up with yearly fashion isn't that hard, you just need to go into a store and see what presented on the mannequins.

I don't consider myself a a follower of fashion, but I've never learned anyhting from that subreddit. Everything is brown, black or gray and unstylised. It's stuff you would wear from mid 30 to you deathbed. Shit has no style.

To this I'd like to add that /r/malefashionadvice is only good if you want to dress up like you engineer grandfather.

Most of the time Seddit either reads like an impenetrable jargon fest or like you said, a collection of soft porn stories. I won't lie, some of them gave me wood.

That list might as well be "Be attractive". The problem is attaining those goals, getting a group of male stud friends isn't easy, for instance.

Don't pump yourself too hard. "Debunking" is definitely not the word I would use here.

I still have to read it. Also, oneitis? That sounds like a weak attempt at marketing by some bodywash company.

I don't see a distinct advantage, especially when the acronyms refer to silly definitions.

True, but some things are a given. People are gonna figure out your'e talking about a hot chick no matter how you describe her, and being akward around women dosen't really need it's own acronym.
