there's no reason to communicate this verbally If you don't have the balls to answer a direct yes/no question I'm seeing contradictions here.

What do you think is a better response to "Did you notice I didn't cum?"

You would have gave in to her LMR with the fapping Ooh, I hadn't thought about that. Maybe it's helping me after all. It's a struggle sometimes! Hard to tell if I'm getting stronger or just repressed but I'm going to stick with it for a while and see how it goes.

But you're not actually spinning plates unless your wife is one of many, right? This was my misconception when I first started reading this sub and everyone told me I had it wrong.

previous post if it matters Overview 30s, no kids, once-per-week starfish with wife, just starting MRP earnestly a few weeks ago HEALTH I went to the gym twice this week and got the wife to excercise at home with me another day. She is on the border between curvy-hot and curvy-chunky and we're both trying to make sure she leans the first way. She is noticing my gains, she commented on my muscles a couple times, so hopefully that will help. READING I finished MMLP, NMMG and now I'm listening to t…

Sorry, elephant in the room for me is... If I were single, I would be out dating different girls every night. Am I just being too literal?

Here's the only inconsistency I see here... Wouldn't I also be releasing this 'woman scent' if I was having sex with her every night? Because that would mean my T would be just as spent as if I were masturbating, right?

Well, there are times when these books and my reality just don't line up. Maybe that's fine for most people but she usually sleeps in a few hours later than me and neither of us are morning people, sexually or otherwise.

I've started it but haven't gotten to that yet.

Is there science on this? I've noticed that my sex drive and urge to look at porn seems to increase when I have been having sex so I would guess that my T would be increasing also.

We talked about it I don't mean that we have to discuss it every night, just that I didn't consider evening-sex until she brought it up. I'm usually doing other stuff so it didn't occur to me.

You got it, early 30s, no kids.

I don't really see it as negotiation. I'm not giving up something I value. Maybe it's doing it on her terms but if I don't see an improvement, I haven't really lost anything.

So I shouldn't be masturbating at all? This seems at odds with the "put yourself first" mentality. Maybe I need to look up pheromonal beta but I don't see how this helps anything.

Well, I have never felt shit-tested at work but I'm sure it happens to some people.

It's almost like I'm trying to learn a new thing that I don't understand yet. Are we allowed to talk about it along the way?

some word getting around might not necessarily be a bad thing That's what I was thinking. Isn't the whole point so your wife knows you have options? And technically, you haven't done anything wrong.

You don't ever feel disrespected by anyone?

I thought A&A is more for "are you cheating on me?" tests. If I amplify anger, I'm just going to be deeper in her frame, right?
/r/askMRP17/11/16 05:33 PM

Ok, I guess the problem is that I'm actually getting pissed off when I should thinking about something else. I just have this feeling like if I don't say something, I'm letting her get away with bad behavior.

I don't get the selfie... Are you making a face or something?
/r/askMRP17/11/16 01:25 AM

Ok but the result of that is she can talk shitty to me and I'm just repressing any feelings about it. Sure, I could do the AM routine but at that point I feel like I have a daughter, not a wife.

This sounds like I have to be some mindless slave that just brings home the bacon and stays quiet while childish shit is thrown at me. Shouldn't I have some kind of response? Shouldn't we get better at communicating?
/r/askMRP16/11/16 08:01 PM

Well, I don't like to even engage over text when she's angry. It's so easy to misunderstand each other. But I would rather she said "I'm angry" than "Great. Whatever." Essentially, it communicates the same thing but without the respect.

I would say certain traits from all three but not as bad as any single scenario. Mostly I'm interested in getting regular sex, passing shit-tests and listening to my logical ideas instead of her hamster-panic.

That's only my summary and I know it can't be the right interpretation. I say it that way only to illustrate "you know what this sub actually sounds like to an outsider?" Specifically, these are the kinds of activities I'm reading about- Frequenting the gym, watching sports in a bar, be away from my house as much as possible to make my wife suspect I'm cheating to build dread, etc.
/r/askMRP26/10/16 06:33 PM

I think the point is this- I do like who I am but the more I read of this sub, it rings true in my relationship. The problem comes when I look for something solid to do about it. There's a lot of macho inspirational quotes but no detail or substance. The few details there are, are disappointing. Go back to the gym? Watch sports in a bar? Be away from my house as much as possible to make my wife suspect I'm cheating?

Thanks, I feel like you're first person here to take my post seriously. I'm just having trouble getting through all the reading material when it all seems to be saying "be outcome independent and DGAF but you need to spend all your time doing shit you don't like so you can impress everyone else (but its for you)"

I got off that stuff because it wasn't doing anything except giving me acne and my actual doctor told me it was pseudoscience. You can't really measure testosterone reliably because the amount fluctuates throughout the day.
/r/askMRP26/10/16 05:49 PM

What does that even mean, though? How do I "build value" when the prescriptions are just someone else's idea of a good time?

I'll restate it, I have spent years in a gym, not a few months. It never felt manly. It felt depressing because it was like being inside an armpit scored by teenage girl music. I tried a few different places and they were all the same. Watching my free time disappear down that hole was miserable.
/r/askMRP26/10/16 05:24 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
