There's no bar for women because they do the choosing. Men are expected to accept them as they are

because it appears to me that you have lumped sexual attraction in with immoral behavior. He didn't. If anything he implied there's no connection between the two

Subsequent dates aren't generally covered by just one person. it's still mostly men paying for subsequent dates People don't go on dates just to "get laid" and that wasn't my argument your argument was that men aren't spending money on trying to get laid, when in fact they are. Intimacy generally happens before exclusivity

How many first dates are people going on? why are we only considering first dates? Subsequent dates aren't going to be free either It's going to be less than 1% of your salary. let's assume it is. It would still be incorrect to say men don't spend money trying to get laid

It's not going on "sex" or any way to have it. Right, because men certainly don't pay for dates

This is basically a long way of saying female hypergamy will have different expressions depending on the environment, which is just true. The easier life is, the more amplified hypergamy will be, which is what this post implies

But are these women even interested in the men who claim they don't want them for a relationship? yes, chances are at least some will be. Romantic interest doesn't require reciprocation. You can absolutely be interested in someone who is not interested in you

That's exactly the point. Like I said in an other reply: I don't think Swedish women don't have a problem with splitting the bill. The men are being interviewed in English. The aim of the video is clearly to cause controversy by showing a reality most people aren't accustomed with. If anything, the diversity in the comment section shows that women who are ok with men not paying for dates are the minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 09:42 PM

1) Few if any women in the comments are from Sweden I don't think that's a coincidence at all and I don't doubt Swedish women don't have a problem with splitting the bill. The men are being interviewed in English. The aim of the video is clearly to cause controversy by showing a reality most people aren't accustomed with. If anything, the diversity in the comment section shows that women who are ok with men not paying for dates are the minority. 2) Ah yes, more conservative/religious women in the…

Ah ok, I genuinely didn't realise your comment implied the guy had explicitly being rejected before being ghosted. Then yes I don't disagree
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 03:53 PM

I agree, if a person doesn't know how to deal with rejection that's on them. You shouldn't expect them to keep talking to you after the fact. I also think this goes for both parties involved. However your comment was implying that ghosting someone to end a friendship is fine, which I disagree with

"Omg, ugly men can't be friends with these stuck up bitches. I can take a no respectfully, but she ghosted me." Apparently many men can't take a no respectfully. I think most people would agree ghosting isn't a very respectful way of ending a friendship

You arent getting fat, you arent getting lazy, you stay charismatic. Or you could do all these things and still not cheat on your wife? Just because I don't let myself go after entering a relationship it doesn't mean I'm cheating on my partner

Cases of men raping women have increased by 250% in the same time period. I would be interested in reading the source for this, as admittedly I'm not very educated on the subject. Though if I had to guess I'd say it's the number of reported cases of rape to have increased, probably due to the definition of rape having being revisited multiple times (even recently). I also suspect false accusations may be driving the number up, given they were certainly less common back then and rape was underrep…

And women "respected" men's opinions because they didn't have any other option. Domestic abuse rates were significantly higher and women didn't have the same rights they do now. But wouldn't this alone make modern men better than their grandfathers?

According to some comments, there's a part which was left out in the repost that explains she told the priest she had in fact confessed to her husband. So, allegedly, the priest thought the husband already knew and asked him how he was coping

You claimed women are both the ‘product’ and the seller. That is factually incorrect. No, it's not. The number of parties involved in the transaction doesn't matter. If women weren't willing to exploit their sexuality for money there wouldn't be (in most cases) a transaction at all. That's what makes them the sellers. Men own almost all the porn platforms that exist too, and so they are therefore the sellers. Men owning porn platforms does not negate women being the sellers. Farmers markets are …

You went from arguing we shouldn't put the blame on women who willingly engage in sex work, to stating 0% of sex work is consensual, to basically calling me a r*pist. And not one of my arguments was addressed in the process

The comment you replied to clearly mentioned consensual sex work. Unless you're arguing there's no such thing, which is obviously false
