My dad taught me how to shoot, golf, and gamble bc I think he wishes he'd had a boy. Joke's on him bc I still beat him at golf. Maybe that's why dads choose chess- because it is less of a blow to your ego to have your ass kicked at chess than at golf

I'm the last person you'll ever hear to defend cheating, but this article is making a mountain out of a molehill. As a perfectionist myself who feels very deeply and intensely about the feelings of others, i believe i would be reacting exactly the same way as this woman. The relationship was seemingly enviable and she was the one who, in her mind, put an unnecessary spot on something that was previously pretty dang sterling. I would beat myself up too, and not to "shit test." Ugh.

I like guns, golf, boating, playin my banjo, making up songs about my dog, taking my dog to the park, running with my dog, playing with other peoples' dogs, and reading. There are enough folks who share those interests with me but I wouldn't say that "makes me interesting." I'm passionate about my family and their wellbeing, responsible pet ownership and appropriate treatment of animals, and my work.

I am so sorry for what you're going through. It sounds like there have been a lot of deep rooted issues that have gone unaddressed in your admirable attempts to maintain normalcy - for your marriage and for your daughter. That said, you are a domestic abuse victim - your maintenance of the recordings you mentioned is fortunate, as you may need to utilize these to move forward with ensuring the safety of you and your bebe. I live in the us, but I've dug around and found the following, and was mos…

Wtf. I lurk this sub for valuable insight that is (barring an occasionally abrasive comment) valuable and accurate to me as a lady. You are in the wrong community with this post.

Yeah I don't disagree. I feel fortunate to not see that in my industry too much. Except for this stupid "IT Women's Council" we have - I was voluntold to be on the board and quit after like two months because it's perpetuating that unfair advantage bs

Female software engineer here who hires folks on the regular. I accept any resumes. I don't look at names - just qualifications. If I get down to one man and one woman with identical credentials, I will ask them the same questions and treatment will be exactly the same - I expect promptness, sharp dress, a firm handshake, eye contact, confident and concise responses to my queries... Call me an outlier but lord knows I would never hire a girl just because of her sex.

This is my fave comment on this thread so far - this is also one of the most interesting threads I've read as a lurker too. You just addressed one of the biggest pain points I have with trp and mgtow. I'm a lady who is an only child, college was funded by my dad who is an electrician and my mom who is a teacher turned IT director for her school system. My parents' collective income (along with frugality and thoughtful planning) meant that I graduated school debt free, and three years later, my s…

40 lbs since New Years is fantastic! Congrats! You clearly are on the right track, but be cautious of accelerating your weight loss much beyond the average you're currently achieving, as you can end up with extra/loose skin even when you're religiously working out. But dang. Good on you buddy. You got this!
