Yup, it certainly is. That makes sense. They have a choice & you do not. Appreciate the explanation. It sounds similar to what we as a society has done to young boys...we forgot about them in order to lift up young girls. I agree that young girls should be lifted up, but not at the expense of young boys. They’re just kids.

I would like that for you as well but this doesn’t sound like a right. I could be wrong but it sounds like a man in your country cannot choose whether they can be conscripted or not. Neither can a woman. So they don’t have the Right to choose anymore than you do.

No, no, no. I don’t see it as a good thing at all. It’s like being in the Military, I don’t see it as a good thing but my personal feelings on the matter doesn’t count. Some women would love Military conscription. I’m still very confused. It sounds like you’re saying you want that you want fewer rights. Am I correct in saying this or am I off.

Ohh sorry. I’m honestly trying to understand Men’s Rights. I’m still confused because traditionally conscription has been limited to the male population of a given body. Women and disabled men have been exempt from conscription. Many societies have considered, and continue to consider, military service as a test of manhood and a rite of passage from boyhood into manhood. This was a rule created for men by men. Men Have that right. They’re not missing out on it. Which rights do Women have that me…

Which rights do most women have that men don’t?

I’m not sure how this pertains to Rights. This is men’s facts. Plus, don’t men have ALL OF THE RIGHTS to begin with? This sub confuses me.

In the same way liberals in this cesspool called Reddit accuses anyone who criticizes then a conservative & conservatives call anyone who criticizes them a liberal - this kid accuses me of not being a man bc his tiny brain can’t follow a very simple conversation. I think incels are taking over this sub. The Fact is we have a privileged status in society. Privilege doesn’t equate to no disadvantages. If this post was meant to prove a point, it doesn’t. It’s meant as “evidence” to support an ignor…

Yes, because men made these rules. Women never forced men to work all their lives. Give me an instant in history where women had the power to tell society that men should work all their lives. I’ll choose a random year. 1835, give me an instance when women allowed men that privilege I think the mistake is that you are emotional. Privilege isn’t a feeling. I’ll give you an example. If a billionaires kid was born with all the trappings that come along with being the son of a billionaire (any job t…

Just because we men have disadvantages doesn’t mean we’re not privileged. How is this a hard concept to understand. Privilege doesn’t mean a perfect life, it also doesn’t mean there are no disadvantages to being a man. This argument is the same argument Flat Earthers & Antivaxxers use. It’s also the same argument incels use.

It’s one persons response. It doesn’t prove a thing in the same way some scumbags hate on here doesn’t prove that this is a hateful sub. And no, it doesn’t. If I’m missing something please explain to me how it answers the questions I posted. Ps: it’s funny how the feminist sub & men’s right sub have so much in common but post shit to spite the other side.

This is the silliest post I’ve seen. Why even post this? What’s the point? We’re your feelings hurt? Was the point to point out that Feminist don’t care about sexism? Does this post prove it?

It’s Reddit. It’s either the hive mentality or they didn’t read past the first sentence. I’d guess most commenters didn’t even read the article attached.

Because of the culture they’re raised in? I love this country but damn we’re assholes. We’ve been bombing those fuckers for YEARS!! We’re literally terrorist in their country. Imagine if any middle eastern army was roaming the streets of any major US city. I don’t think they should be bombing us in anyway but terrorist aren’t bombing us bc they simply have “a negative view”.

What?!?! I’m pointing out the silliness of this specific post. I’m not saying one should not be offended - I’m simply saying that EVERYTHING offends EVERYBODY. This post being a prime example. The guy who was “assaulted” does not care so why should you. He also does not care about the double standard, so why should you. A good rule is that you shouldn’t be more outraged than the person it happened to. Ok, men’s lives are being ruined by baseless accusations - yes, bring out the torches & pitchfo…

Dude. I’m pointed out the silliness of this specific post. Don’t go on a tirade about what you’re offended by. I’m sure there’s a group out there’s who’s offended that it’s men who are in power, it’s the majority of men who rape. I get what your tirade is all about but again, this post is silly. You’re offended - I get it. But.This.Post.Is.Silly & it makes this sub seem childish.

Dude, you don’t know Demi Lovato - safe to assume that no one on this sub does. I’m just saying that if the guy she pulled this prank on isn’t offended, why should you be. If he came out and said that he felt like he was assaulted, then yea, bash her. But c’mon deep down you know how silly this is.

If you actually opened your eyes you’d realize that both subs have sooo much in common. But god do you two subs complain. You two also love getting offended. It’s like the new song - who’s offended today?!?!? Who’s more offended?!?!

Jesus Christ, is this what we’ve come to? She hired a Lady of the night - an no, why in God’s band would I be offended or pissed. She didn’t hold a gun to someone’s head and forced her to do it. She HIRED. Honestly, is this the direction we’re headed? This is incredibly sad. If a friend pulled that prank on my, no I would be “offended” & no I would think of the double standard. Let’s all just take a chill pill - it’s as if we’re now looking for stuff to get offended by.

So, offended. My point. If it’s not this, it’s that. Go into the feminist sub & it’s the same shit. We all LOVE being offended.

Each person is different. Depending on the friendship I wouldn’t mind at all. And no, if my friends pulled this prank on me, I would of be “offended”. We literally join this tiny groups online to complain. Im for rights for all but you’re “outraged” about a person you don’t know doing something to another person who prob did not care - who you also don’t know. There are tons of men out there who’ve been abused who you could actually post about - this post is SILLIEST thing I’ve seen. The descrip…

Oh stop it I don’t disagree than men do get sexually assaulted but Jesus. Could we honestly chill the hell out. Every single day someone is offended or hurt by something. You can block me now.

Apologies, I was under the impression that because we were talking about Chris Rock that we having a conversation about "lefties" in the US. I can't speak for Canadians. Politics in the US is complicated enough.

I would consider myself a leftist & even I find most of these pronouns silly. But then again, as an individual if someone asks me to call them X, I will call them X - no argument from me. Curious, where is this illegal to refer to a person with a vagina as a Her? Which state? I'd be interested in reading up on it.

"Why do you think lefties have been trying to ban certain offensive kinds of it lol" - you You're a lying stupid sack of shit.

I have to ask. Do you have anything to back up this statement? Or is this a gut reaction because you've read memes like the one above. Ps: if you're specific & have examples then there's no need to generalize. Generalizing is lazy because it's easy. You seem like a lazy dude.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's the term "lefties" a blanket statement? Let's use the following as an example. Conservatives are racist. This statement would imply that conservatives are racist.

Lefties? Chris Rock is a "lefty". He's the guy telling joke.

I understand that coming from lesser known stars, but A-listers? Isn't light the best disinfectant. So basically we're proud to use the #metoo hashtag on predators we've already uncovered but the ones who still live in the dark are fine. Confusing, right?

I've seen a lot of high profile celebs on the #metoo twitter response. It's easy using Harvey as a reason for using the #metoo because he was already outed but these high profile actresses are still hiding Harvey type predators in Hollywood. Any reason why that is?
