For some reason too many people think age of consent in The U.S. is 18. According to Penn & Teller's show BullShit, most States are 16, a few 17 then the rest are 18. If you polled people on the street, I bet a majority would answer 18. We need to set a legal standard across all 50 States. It makes no sense that you have to be 21 for cigarettes and alcohol, 18 to vote and consent and yet 16 for other things.
