It’s a good guideline but obviously not true always. A good buddy of mine who was reasonably successful with women all his life met a girl who made him wait for sex and he decided to wait. He was 37 and very down to start a serious relationship though, so all of these things depend on context. Now they’re happily engaged.

I can assure you not all mountains are climbable lmao, some girls are steadfastly strong

If a girl says she had a great time, tell her you had a good time too, and start leading things toward the next date. Take it slow, let it evolve naturally, show her you’re in control of your emotions, be normal…….. and things will work out fine.

Sort of true but this advice is exaggerated and really only for guys who are needy and insecure.

This is why it’s so important to tell her why you want to talk to her, preferably sooner rather than later. “Hey, I saw you and thought you looked cute so I wanted to say hi.” That way she knows exactly what you’re there for and can show you if she wants to talk or not

Sounds like she gave you a lot of positive signals but you didn’t ask for her number or tell her you want to hang out? That in my opinion is the biggest mistake you made, it sounds like your flirting was pretty normal? If you see her again, see how the vibes are and if positive stop fucking around and ask her out. If negative / neutral whatever move on

Everything was fine except 1) you missed your window and 2) your last message (see my edit)

You had two golden opportunities to ask her out: 1) after she said “I was doing it at same time but I decided one class is good for me now” and 2) after “I like adult script! Monday!” she was responding and you could’ve just been like “nice, well hey we should get together and catch up, would be fun” and go from there….. your window was open and you didn’t seize the opportunity. Now it’s closed Edit: let me add onto this and say you came off very poorly complimenting her content like that. Like …

Yes. I have burned some potentially good leads by going for the kiss on the first date when the girl obviously wasn’t ready. If you’re forcing it, it’s a bad idea. Any advice that says “always do x” is too extreme. In fact I just had sex with a girl with whom I didn’t go for the kiss on the first date bc she clearly wasn’t ready for it. She’s a cool girl and I’m glad I didn’t force it with her

I’ve done ~1,100 cold approaches Most of the time nobody really cares (spotlight effect). I remember a few other times when I was with a wing, approached a girl, and a couple walked by and heard me open her and give the compliment, and then after the set my wing told me “dude the girl in that couple heard you and she told her boyfriend ‘omg that was so great of him to do, nobody does that anymore!’” So there you go

I dont really think that’s possible if he’s going completely cold

Of course…..unless you frequent these places / know the people there, in which case it would be a bit warmer

I’ve done a lot of daygame cold approach (over 500 approaches). If we’re talking straight up COLD, i.e. you go out to a high foot traffic public area where you don’t really have a reason to be there otherwise, then…. If you get 1 lay per 100 approaches you’re doing pretty well I’m around 1 per 60 which I’m pretty happy with, generally this is an advanced intermediate ratio 1 in 40 is advanced, and 1 in 30 is crazy good, and supposedly there are guys out there who can do this well. But if you’re …

Agree to disagree, at least for the most part. This is how I was when I was really learning game, but now that I’ve internalized it I say way fewer gamey things and don’t think much about it. But if this is your style then go for it

I disagree with this answer a lot. “Sunday is good” is not that bad. Saying something ridiculous like “Sunday I volunteer but if I have enough energy to hang out I will let you buy me dinner” is way too gamey and forced. /u/bobyd, the only suggestion I have is maybe to say “Sunday is good, how about x time? I know a good spot for y”. If she agrees, set the date and shut up. She might not have responded because she has no idea what to say or do now. You are also free on the same day as she, but w…

It depends. If you like daygame/cold approach, I would say no (unless you go to a city like NYC or Chicago), since in America foot traffic is relatively low compared to European capital cities. In America we drive a lot

Bro, I know it sucks to hurt someone’s feelings, but you have to man up. Don’t lead her on. A man with abundance isn’t afraid to let her go

I think you did okay and you’re overthinking things… considering you work together, I’d probably play things relatively chill. No need to rush to try to get her out since you’ll see her routinely, and you don’t want to come across as interested in her solely as a dating object. I know you commented this above, but I wouldn’t be thanking her for having a conversation with you. It might make you come across as unworthy, when in reality it’s completely normal to talk to just about anyone at any tim…

So don't even bother responding to what she said?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
