It's because we qualify women based on their physical appearance (a biologic imperative - nothing we can do about it) so we assume women do the same (they do, but on a much smaller scale).

Whichever it is, the appropriate course of action is to do nothing. Edit: after reading some more responses, you could also agree and amplify considering the possibility that it's a massive shit test, but the "take care" leads me to believe it isn't.

A 500D. The lens is also a big factor, since wider apertures allow for better low light autofocus. The 16-35 is great for clubs.

I'm also a nightlife photographer and would like to point out that I go out with a Rebel (when I intend to get drunk as well, which is pretty much every time) and it gets the job done if you have a good external flash that can emit a focus assist beam. Granted, I walk around with a good flash and an expensive lens.

I know what it's like. Just try to be discreet and limit your opening of sets per night. It's counter-productive for beginners, but it's better than bad rep.

Tasks at hand (insert joke here) But seriously now, block all porn from your computer. If it's really that bad, set a password blindly so you can't circumvent it. Whenever you get the urge, go outside and run or do some pushups or other physical activity. Never use "I can't sleep" as an excuse. Earlier, I also thought about doing something I named "shots for shots" = basically I shoot her, but if she wants the shot (could be modified into if she wants to see it), she'll have to buy me a shot. It could go wrong if there's not enough attraction. I do the same. What I lug around in the street is not a full-on pro camera (that'd be bulky, and irresponsible - I'm not about to go out drinking with a $2000+ body). Mostly I carry a crop-sensor canon with a 10-22mm (I shoot people at 22 [=35] so their face doesn't get all funky :p) with a uv filter for protection, no cap, and my speelight. I don't mind it, actually. Like I said, I carry it around everywhere I go (though most of the time without the flash, though I can work it in), so handling it is second-nature. Also, having a flash on screams professional for some reason, which I'd say is a DHV. It helps that I hang out with attractive female friends, so I would think that shooting them first would allow me to a) set the settings right, and b) get noticed. It's hard to ignore a flash indoors.

How would I peacock with it? I have a huge external flash and coupled with a big lens, it's peacock worthy, so I've thought about walking into a bar and shooting everyone, while being in-state. The only thing preventing me from doing it is that there are some technical difficulties photography-wise that prevent me from doing this while making it all smooth (not fidgeting with the settings) and still getting good shots.
