Restraining orders never work against the crazy or unlawful. They are however extremely effective at separating lawful good parents from there kids with use of mere allegations. Happens to dads more than mothers (bias of the judicial system) but it happens to mothers too.

Divorced dad here.. I’m presumed fit per my state’s laws (Illinois) but I am not presumed to have an equal part time wise in their lives. I’ve been accused of domestic violence, reported to child services and given less time with my kids despite living 3 miles away from mom. I’m colleged educated with no criminal history. I’ll have to checkout the show now! Often times entertainment is based on real experiences or facts that the broader public doesn’t have an awareness of. Nobody media wise wants to public articles that might weaken protections for the abused so it turns a blind eye imho to what is not at all an uncommon exploitation of “free services to help victims”

Im procrastinating spending too much time online tonight, and the circumcision issue annoys me because I respect either view. (Sorry). Whatever floats your boat is my take. I'm circumcised.. and I'm a father of a 5yo that I watched over as he was circumcised. I don't feel my kiddo suffered.. Shouldn't matter.. People can still be against male circumcision even if it has a much higher chance of infection with unprotected sex. On the topic of studies most studies have flaws and imperfections .. that's why they get published so people can do other studies with a varied size of subjects, type of trial, etc.. that there are criticisms or deficiencies, or limited aspects of a study is pretty normal. It doesn't make the study bad/wrong/useless.

Simple fact is that sealed moisture and/or low breathing of air makes it easier for bacteria/viruses to stick & take hold. It is why some women have fewer yeast infections wearing cotton undies, and baby's diaper rash can heal if you are willing to let the kid run around but naked for hours on end. It is not fair that my vasectomy is not covered AT ALL under my insurance. My vasectomy doesn't even apply towards my insurance deductible. It should be illegal imho. If a car dealership changed prices on Tuesdays for Asians it would be all over the news. I support a businesses right to refuse customers but if they choose to accept customers charging differing prices even if just one day a week should be illegal. I disagree. If the underlying principle of men's rights is for equality and fairness this absolutely is an issue of concern. What would sour the notion of men's rights is if it loses the equality aspect to become an advocacy group taking positions pro-men at the expense of other groups. I'm all for businesses right to refuse customers but this is systemic reoccurring every week.

I can't read a 200 page study on my phone but we should be curious what they did or didn't adjust for. They use the phrase "rate" so I assume(maybe wrongly) they adjusted for the total numbers of woman w/kids vs men w/kids. Did they adjust and weight things in other ways they felt appropriate?

Lets not go there on this thread. At least with auto insurance it is assignment of costs based on real actual loss data.(claims records). Every company will use the data differently but if generalizing young men pay more than young women, but older men pay less than older women. With auto insurance one gender is not subsidizing the other. Actually it is the exact opposite the more I think about it.
