After 15 years of having the finances together, I decided to completely separate them. She will have no access to my account, and I am thinking of assigning budgets to food, clothing, entertainment, etc. Discussion will take place tonight so it will be intersting. To the point, clear rules, no chit chat. Hold frame. Any other tips? And I know she will say it's because of what she did. Should I say: 'you bet' or 'no, I just want to become a better leader for our family'

Good questions UEMcGill. She is a good woman. I once read a quote: Grass is only greener on the other side... if you water it. MRP is the water and I believe we can still have a beautiful garden together if I continue to apply MRP principles. I want our family to flourish together under my leadership.

I was alpha and she had tingles for me. After a while we did settle, kids came around and I became beta. Cheated. Became even more beta. We had sex once or twice a week. Since implementing MRP 9 months ago, sex increased to three or 4 times a week.

At this moment I am not nor willing to go this far. Based on everyone's opinion, mistakes were made by both of us. If she is telling the truth, then AWAL. She is just "doing her job" and I can't fault her for that, especially after being BP for so long and cheating. I should be focusing on improving my SMV and take it day by day. And if there is anything I need (kinkiness in this case), I should just act, not talk about it. And then proceed from there.

Must disagree with you here. First of all, my emotional communication with her decreased significantly since I started MRP journey. And stopping porn was my own thing and done before I even knew about MRP. I did it for me, not for her. I certainly read enough side bar and posts to know that in a situation I was in (her bringing up my cheating when I implemented MRP for few months), communicating to her that I will no longer accept her excused and accusations from way back when I am focusing on f…

Excellent point about my SMV is not what I or other women think, but what MY woman thinks. In her eyes I cheated and therefore lost some points. Almost forgot about resources. I still care too much and give her way too much attention. Need to be more stoic. I was also thinking of separating our bank accounts but after 15 years, it might be way to drastic of the move. I don't want to seem like I am butthurt.

Thank you FearDearg. The first 3 responses mentioned the same thing: I am still in her frame. I guess it must be true, I was able to move on for 3 months and not think about some of the messages she wrote until she went against my request of no contact with him. Since then, all I've been thinking about what she said to him. I should just say: AWALT. You are spot on about her bringing up the emotional side of my infidelity. I never looked at it this way. Outside of leading and holding frame, Is t…

It is a pleasure BluepillProfessor. I did cheat like a dog and owned it. In fact for about 2 years after, I would say I've done everything she requested... until things were going south again. MRP saved me. I would say that initial messages were fair but I requested no contact, she didn't deliver. But it sounds like I need to move on and give her another chance and just act like nothing happened?

Appreciate your thoughts S_J. I think my SMV is high enough but I agree that she doesn't need to do these kinky things with me. I moved on for about 3 months and focused on me (not her or ex) but did make it clear to her that she can't communicate with him without my knowledge . She went against it (I know that it was only a thank you reply but I believe my request was pretty fair). I agree that she would allow herself to be dominated with Chad. At this moment I am not afraid of a Main-event. At…
