My fiance was taught by the men in his family to "man up" or "grow a pair" in stressful/emotional situations. I cannot tell you how detrimental this can be and sometimes has been for us. It has taken time and some pretty long conversations, but slowly my fiance is getting better about expressing his feelings and discussing things. I'm new here, and I'm a lady. This ad campaign was meant to target teenagers. I hate to admit this, but I saw it on "The View." It was debated as being sexist, but it is also pretty true for teen moms- the dads aren't usually in the picture. I don't really know how I actually feel about it in general, but I think it's a strong message to send to teens.
