Used to be the skinny "dorky" kid in grade school. Gaining some muscle and toning up my body helped over come a lot of my self confidence issues. Conditioned myself to smile. Make eye contact and smile at the pretty lady. Positive reactions follow from a smile back, a friendly "hi" from the other person and/or at times sparked conversations.
