Fair enough. I generally think any details of what’s going on such as cheating, or who kicked who out, or who did what is not for the kids. A united front is optimal stating “here’s what we are doing (the new living/visit situation) because our marriage isn’t working. We both made mistakes and it’s definitely not your fault as kids. We both love you very much” If you can’t do something like that together, you should present that same message by yourself. If the kids ask for specifics because the…

I think you are too concerned about what your ex could do. This comes off very fragile. Control your side of things, and address the other parent adult to adult if they are not doing what is right. The goal is to make sure your kids know they are loved and sharing the truth to them at their level of maturity is fine, but being proactive about establishing fault is not the move

I’m not saying kids should be deceived. But going out of your way to make sure the kids know it was the other person’s fault highlights your own insecurities. Be honest with them to the degree that is age appropriate. The way I read OP’s post was that he needed a plan to break the news to the kids that it wasn’t his fault. Don’t be preemptive is creating side picking

You are only responsible for yourself and you can’t control the other person. You should do what is right for the kids even if your ex isn’t. Kids should not be thrown into adult things. Adults should handle adult things, and your feelings about those adult things should not bleed into the perspective you share with your children. Your third paragraph is exactly what people should do. Couldn’t have said it any better

And you think he would feel differently about her if you had told him?

Not a lawyer but have been through this… you won’t get full custody unless she is an active junkie brother. Cheating doesn’t matter one bit in most states. You don’t tell your kids it’s what mom wanted. You don’t make the other parent the “bad guy.” While I understand you personally don’t want them thinking it was your decision to split, you are fucking them up more than you can comprehend if you pin it on mom. I’d suggest reading some divorce/co-parenting books asap

I think you should be working on yourself for YOURSELF primarily. This tends to add confidence and unlock some opportunities. I feel like this is a lifelong process, not something short term just get a mate

Just hitting her up as often as u feel appropriate. Don’t be nervous it won’t go well or over analyze. Get other girls u can do the same with to create options

throw some bait out every once and while and see if she bites. You need other irons in the fire so you do not care about her responses to your communication. Keep her in your rotation of women, but not one u have feelings for

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
