In my experience about 4 out of 10 guys will ghost her when she proves to be too intimidating or be more successful than them. Basically the female will lose out on some unsuccessful guys, but on the flip side successful guys will find her much more attractive and desirable and pursue her harder than if she hadn't accomplished anything in life. She still has to look good physically too of course.

Of course. I've personally seen several examples of men being taken advantage of, being physically or verbally abused by their wives, and the right to see their own children used as a weapon to get more money. It's extremely sad and messed up and I'm glad there are people out there willing to stand up for those men despite the shit they get for it.

Poor men if they all had to live by your rules :( Heh, it's funny because my last two relationships have involved me bringing excitement, opportunities and freedom to them rather than the other way around. But that's how I like it - everyone is different you know... I despise the feeling of owing someone else, which is how I would feel if a man had more power than me and was giving me everything and I was just using him for resources and excitement, that's just a very depressing thought.

I get that a lot of guys wouldn't want this, they are set in their ways and that's understandable, but some men just dont have a lot of life experience and I love being able to take someone young with a lot of potential who I can help mold into a productive, successful and self aware human. I'm not talking about taking someone completely clueless and incapable and turning them into a slave bot lol.

I like them to be easily trainable, I'm very particular about a lot of things in my life, I don't want someone who is already "shaped" by society and past relationships. Plus I lIke the way men look on the younger side (not too much, maybe 3-5ish years younger).

That's an extremely unpleasant thought to me. And I don't mean that I never do anything for him at all, I believe in a pretty even give and take relationship, but with me being that extra 10% on charge. I find women who are run by their men to be weak, that type of life seems incredibly depressing, boring and unsatisfying. Being in charge of one's own destiny and 100% capable alone is much more appealing.

It happens a lot in moderate sized suburban towns in the south. I'm not one to wear tight/low cut stuff and have experienced many annoying/gross comments, and a few scary situations. Mostly by either Latino or military men. Although the few super liberal towns are awesome, almost no men ever bother you at all.

What about men who won't submit to anybody except to their woman? I won't have anyone dominating me at all, but also won't have attraction to a man who is weak and submissive to other men. This seems not that uncommon...

Atheist here. Seems immoral to me. I think for whatever reason some people just naturally find sex without knowing someone really well to be immoral, weird, unpleasant and unsafe.

I definitely agree with you on the generational thing, the younger males I know all seem to want and love females that work and help bring in income, they don't do many of the classic "gentlemanly" gestures (always opening doors for you, buying flowers, always paying for everything, etc). It's such a drastic difference the way slightly older generation males treat and see females, I find it kind of bizarre and unsettling the way they treat you like a beautiful fragile doll creature or something,…

As long as you aren't harming anyone psychologically or physically, it doesn't really matter to anyone outside of yourself. If I only thought vile thoughts about half the population I imagine my life being pretty unhappy since we have to work and interact with each other on a daily basis in most cases. I imagine my work based and friendship based acquaintances and the great, mutually respectful and beneficial relationships I have with them vs. imagine a life like you mentioned were I only think …

Hmm, if you are very attractive and good looking but short you shouldn't have any issues (it does partly depend on how short though I suppose), I know several 5'8" men that have no issues at all in the last department, I know two attractive men with really great personalities who are 5'5" - 5'6" who have no issues, one is very attractive and a musician and he gets as many girls as he can possibly want lol. The other is late 40's good looking dude (but nothing super stand out), with a really kind…

Hehe, okay, well in the previous post you commented that your only problem was your level of attractiveness, so don'the get all huffy that I assumed you weren't attractive m'dear.

Depends on the context. If there is no lead up to it, that is pretty creepy and inappropriate. If there is some kind of natural lead up to it, it could be totally fine I guess. I've personally never had a boyfriend just tell me to do something like that, and it seems like commanding a girl to do a sexual act like that could really easily come off as inappropriate, even in a long term relationship. Normally it seems like a guy might do something slight like give your head a little nudge or someth…

It goes both ways, plenty of beautiful girls with good personalities end up with men much less attractive than themselves, unfortunately unattractive men with ugly personalities will get females pretty equal to that. Let's break it down for you. Man has ugly personality, is not attractive and has no money. This man will get a woman with all the above traits too. Man is ugly, has got an ugly personality, is super rich. Will be able to get uninteresting hotties all day long, mostly who kind of hat…

No, half the time verbally I will say stuff like "no, please stop, why are you raping me?" because once two people know each other you can say anything and the two of you will know exactly what the other one actually means. Although when you are first dating there needs to be a bit more and clearer communication, but I can't really imagine how awkward it would be if the guy had to get a clear and explicit "Yes" from the lady...

Strange, 2 of my boy friends have been very much above average in looks (6' and greater with very attractive facial features, etc., and yet none of them cared to cheat at all, and expressed desire for us to either remain together forever or get married) and could have been with girls hotter than me any day of the week... not to mention 2 very close male friends who are hot enough to get super hot girls all over them, both are EXTREMELY loyal to their girlfriends (well one is married, other only …

I have no interest in children or raising a family (only look for a long term partner but not the whole family thing) so I only choose men who don't wish to have them either as that would be a deal breaker for me, luckily it seems like I haven't met many men that have really cared about having children. Other successful females I know do it all and it doesn't really seem to be a problem, they work up 'till a couple weeks before having a baby and then take a month or so to recover before going ba…

Of course men usually make more, I am just talking about my experience and several women who I am close with. I am only 27 and date men 23-28 (with the exception of my first boyfriend who was the oldest and he probably makes more than me now as he was very well off back when we were first together and last I heard he is working at a pretty lucrative position on Wallstreet). Guys I have dated have made in the range of 60k-150k I think, I'm honestly not totally sure about a couple of them though a…

I actually do agree with some of this in a lot of male female relationships. However it is definitely not this way across the board. I have personally spent my whole life learning interesting hobbies, building a business, picking up interesting friends, reading and researching interesting or complex topics, etc. This is not just to be interesting to men, I enjoy the challenge of learning new things, learning about humanity and technology (am primarily a programmer by trade), learning the arts su…

Heh, I'm just using money because that's an easy one to point out and I notice a lot of terpers whining about money they have to spend on women, it's just my goto for pointing out that not all females are selfish users, would be happy to use other examples if that would make you happy :)

Nah, most women love men, it's a teeny tiny subset who hate them.

Cool, I pay 100% majority of the time, even when I was broke I always paid 50% unless the guy got mad at me for trying to pay. Of course I'm the minority, most women think they are entitled to everything just for being females, just like most men think that they are entitled to gorgeous 20 y/o babes when they themselves are ugly and uninteresting. I'm not arguing that most people don't suck. I'm saying there is a fairly large subset of men and women who are kind and generous, you seem entitled a…

I hope one day you can give up some of this hate towards half the world's population, it serves you no purpose and makes your life less enjoyable. I can tell you are going to be determined to belive your own delusions so there is probably no real reason for me to continue talking to you, but I will say there are many, many times that I do things for my boyfriends because I love them and it makes me happy to do things for them (e.x., buying them something they mentioned in passing, paying for nic…

hmm interesting, as a note I am 27 and have never had a problem so far getting any guy that has ever interested me, so I guess I'm either not that horrific looking... or maybe guys are less looks obsessed than you would like to think :)

Hahaha, God you date awful girls, I'm guessing you have a terrible personality or else are just one of those guys who is unable to discern female personalities in order to choose the right type to date. I personally do equal amounts for my bf (except I always try and pay for more or all restaurant meals and stuff like that since I make more money), we equally split up household chores and things like that... like I mentioned before, several of my female friends do the same, so there are plenty o…

They are mid 30s and have been married for years, of course they are less attractive physically, I don't see how that has anything to do with what I just said, they didn't treat their husbands differently when they were younger lol....

Just curious what age bracket you are in? Because that is not my experience at all. For myself I am successful and keep myself up and am generally considered very attractive, I have never dated men who make more or are more successful than myself, most of them are irritating egotistical people that are of no interest to me. I can immediately think of 4 of my female friends or family who are the same, attractive and more successful than their husbands, and the fact that they make more money is of…

Men who are attractive and intelligent want a woman who is attractive and intelligent and vice versa. Basically I look for my equal in all things, anyone who is plus or minus on any one quality is going to tend to be a problem, I wouldn't want someone significantly older, younger, better looking, richer, less driven, etc. And in my experience that's what most couples do, they look for an equal match. I know I wouldn't jump ship if a richer or more handsome man came along, since it's more about t…

What I personally look for. Someone who is extremely intelligent, has similar interests (so only date engineers), very sweet (not to be confused with "a nice guy"), brutally honest (if I ask a question I'm looking for the truthful answer, even if it's painful to hear). Someone who is intensely driven or passionate about something, someone who has potential to do great things and isn't afraid of taking risks. Someone who is physically attractive to a point and taller than me. Someone who treats m…

It's definitely a per city thing I'd say. I currently live in a very PC city, and very little happens here. Previous city: 1 instance of walking down the street getting inappropriately grabbed. 1 Instance of being held down and forced to kiss someone in a dance club. 1 instance out running, man runs me down, grabs me, I push him back angrily and he backs off. 1 instance out walking in town, several guys loop by several times in a pickup and yell extremely ugly/gross things at me, until I hid out…

Dated a Muslim, his views were incredibly misogynist and the reason I left on the end. He seemed to think he was very moderate in comparison to most as well. If a woman is happy being subservient to a man that is entirely her prerogative, I think everyone should be educated that life doesn't HAVE to be that way, but should have the free will to choose. I always thought he would make a great husband to the right kind of woman, made great money, didn't want me to work, wanted children, thought he …

That is the biggest issue for me with TRP, AWALT is such a huge part of it, yet there are simply plenty of women who do not fall into their mold. In my group of people I've been close too, proportion of submissive women who enjoy being led by a strong male are about 50/50 to strong types who want equal relationships and who can't stand the idea of being led by anyone, obviously that's anecdotal, and I probably tend to be around more strong types of females, however, I can't believe it's 99/1 lik…

I don't think it's necessarily a masculine trait, because I am generally considered very feminine, love to fix up my house, enjoy taking care of my man and cooking, have always been really into dance, gladly have the bf do any manual labor around the house, etc. Also the two most successful women I've known are very similar to me, very feminine but also good in business (both software devs as well). I think it's harder to pigeonhole people than trp would like to think.

He said, 'Here's how all women are." I go, "I'm a woman and I'm not this way, so something seems off about what you are saying, provide some sources?" See how that works?

Honestly? I couldn't care less what my gravestone says... I am fulfilled by building things and learning things, and in general I was not encouraged to follow the path I've chosen. I have family and friends whom I love dearly, a job that's fascinating and fun, clients who I enjoy working with and a boyfriend who is awesome and who I will most likely marry one day, I'd say that's a life I'll look back on and be proud of. I mean all of us (men and women) will one day die alone without anything, mi…

"Women are not built for leadership and the physical and emotional stress that goes along with it." Would love to see actual statistics backing this up. As a female who is a contract dev, works under extreme pressure and deadlines and who's income is over the 99th percentile, I freaking love my life, and can say with pretty much certainty that out of my girlfriends I'm the most satisfied and fulfilled with my life...
