I only listed CDC data from 2022. No one was judged.

In the US, men who have sex with men (MSM) are 15x more likely to have HIV than straight guys. According to 2022 CDC data, 2/3 new HIV cases were in MSM.

Sure but the correlation between IQ and attractiveness is very small; i.e., looks explains a very small percentage of variance in IQ. That is, there are tons of good looking people who aren’t particularly smart, and tons of smart people who aren’t good looking. Knowing that someone has a >130 IQ gives you very little predictive power of how attractive a person is.

For a poll, isn’t 100 possibly enough? The margin of error for 100 is 10%, which is workable. I wouldn’t take a single poll posted on TRP as unassailable truth, of course. I agree with you that a lot of the “science” on TRP is bogus.

“Most studies are crap and not considered valid by the scientific community” What makes you say this? I know it’s a digression from your original post, but I’m curious. The scientific community is where these studies are produced. It depends on the field and the specific subject matter within that field, but I wouldn’t say most studies are “crap”. Even in psychology, where the science is the most fuzzy, only ~half of the studies didn’t replicate https://www.nature.com/news/over-half-of-psycholog…

The toxic comment was leveled at some of the posts by people, not an assertion against the ideology of the sub. It seems like there is valuable stuff here, a lot to absorb and learn. To me, it seems that some of the ideas here can lead someone into nihilism if people misinterpret. It’s important to avoid that at all costs I think.

That is the standard thought on this subreddit, and, for the most part, it is usually true. I included that because this girl is kind to a fault; she actually seems to be naive.

a lot of you should take a look at the long-term life outcomes correlated with IQ.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
