From my experience, men who work at hotels (in any kind of role) aren't the best. There were lots of rumors and whispers about men when my ex worked there and big shocker-he cheated on me too (with a guest, of course). His coworkers were all trash and exhibit LVM behavior.

No. Please learn from my mistake. Depressed men drain you. I couldn’t speak up about anything because it was either a symptom of his depression and I wasn’t being understanding enough or I was making him depressed by wanting to talk about it.
